I loved the second level suite I was in as detached from the Monticello check in Beautful styled lobby..room not ready but worth the wait. Very roomy! Bed comfortable! Immaculate cleaners every day! Shower items are supplied. They have beach/pool towel’s. Great daily desk assistance. I loved the texting feature they offered for assistance. The street is amazing for excitement of watching daily action with 2 chairs and a table. There is a TV in the bedroom. Tons of closet space! The safe was a nice feature. Pool looked charming, bonus to have. There’s an outside back sitting area with a bar that I never saw anybody at, but again so quaint. The beach is a five minute walk, YES YES very convenient for “beachers”! Beautiful beach and walking path. What a corner, walk across to a lovely inter-coastal with amazing sunsets! Walk the other way and a gas station, smoke shop, and a fabulous taco grill! The hotel does have restaurant nestled outside on the corner great ambiance, had live music, and music. Tacos excellent but a smidge pricey.

The refrigerator absolutely needs to be replaced. I worked around it, was freezing and melting food. The TV was hanging off the wall in the living room and does not connect.

The front desk staff were very friendly and check- in and check-out was fast.and easy.The tavern was nice. Our server was Juliette and she was great.The food was very good and tasty too.The service was fast. Only complaint is it was too pricey.

The parking for the Hotel was terrible because we had to park down the road and pay for overnight parking which was over 35.00. The clerk that we spoke with on the phone didn't give us good directions about the location of the hotel. Also, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and a small dead roach on the floor.. The sink is way too small and the pool was not clean so I couldn't swim.

Listen I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews about this hotel and its staff! Yes Monica is exceptional, but, the rest of the staff from 5/29 @ 8pm when I checked in, I didn’t get his name but he was very kind and welcoming. I stayed until 6/1 and everyone I came into contact with was AWESOME!

The location was great but I recommend that when you book here do not DRIVE!! It is close to everything where you can literally walk or catch a Lyft for under 15 dollars. The hotel also doesn’t say Oceanside on it, it says Monticello on the building! You will find yourself going in circles lol but once in you’ll see that this hotel is a hidden gem. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, I didn’t see not one roach and yes there is a smell in the hallway but my room didn’t smell at all.

We were really pleased with our stay at the Oceanside as it is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. You have the bus stop and the free Miami Beach trolley stop right next to the hotel. Check-in and Check-out was extremely fast. The Tavern restaurant is right next to the hotel so breakfast, lunch or dinner is guaranteed. However, they close by 10pm. You have many other restaurants in walking distance.

There was no electric kettle therefore it was difficult to make any tea/coffee in the room. I think a basic kettle should be provided along with a complimentary bottle of water on the day of arrival as its inconvenient when one checks-in late at night.

Staff were awesome. The ambiance was great. It was an absolutely fantastic value for the cost of the stay. The sheet with the extra info was very helpful

The shower leaked a little in the bathroom and the doors wouldn't shut fully. The bed was also low to the ground and uncomfortable my fiance and I wouldn't be able to stay here when we get older because of this. I wish there was an ice machine in our building as well.

The hotel was clean, staff was great & the location was amazing close to everything

The hotel hallway had a funny smell but not in the rooms & the hot water didn't work in our room so they gave us a room across the hall. They don't have cable or wifi so they was odd but overall this hotel was nice. I would stay here again & for all the bad reviews they are bullcrap had me nervous going here but for $100 this hotel was pleasant for a one night stay

They facility is always over booked don't expect an early check-in before noon. The location is great, it's near the beach and the free trolley. Staff is very friendly, they room services is only available every 3rd days unless requested which stated on their website. They do provide clean towels every day. The bed was super comfortable. My room was pretty big. I did see a lot of negative reviews, so I was really iffy as I read the reviews after booked. But I was very pleased also for the price I had an exceptional stay.

I’ve always liked to stay at Oceanside hotel. The standard room doesn’t have any coffee maker or microwave thought. And also, as a courtesy, it would be nice 1 ou 2 bottles of water in the mini fridge, at least, for the first night.

This time I didn’t have luck with my room, because the bathroom got very wet on the floor, due to a problem in the glass door of the shower, it’s leaking all the water when you take a shower. Repair is really needed as soon as possible. (Room 1110)

Hotel located in 5 minutes walk from the beach, close to public transportation. A little far from the restaurants and all activities. There is a restaurant downstairs right by the hotel: food was mediocre , service pretty slow. The hotel staff would always accommodate the requests.

Hotel located a bit from activities but it’s a great option for people who want something more quiet and less busy.

What I liked about the hotel was the room(bed) it was awesome and the front desk lady. She was really helpful. She explained everything to me how I needed to know. She even guided me to my building to make sure I knew how to get there.

I did not like about the Hotel, there is no parking lot for the hotel and it is hard Miami Beach to find parking. But besides that, it was great.
