Clean and spacious room with a great view of both city and the ocean. For a family of four (2 adults, 2kids) definitely a great choice, since it has a kitchen also. Friendly and welcoming staff. We arrived few hours early and the staff helped us check in early. Great amenities. Very close to Ocean Drive. Loved that this place has 2pools, a gym, hot tub and beach service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Monte Carlo. It ended up being much nicer than we expected. The apartment had plenty of room and had a cute beach/boho design theme. Balcony was excellent, with a view of both the ocean and the intercoastal waterway. Pools and beach were lovely. Its close to shopping and restaurants and an excellent grocery store. When we reported problems with our dishwasher, management promptly sent someone to fix it. When the fix didn't hold they came back and reinstalled a new machine! We were impressed with how responsive they were. We will surely come back again.

I've never rated a property a 10 before but the Monte Carlo is truly exceptional. We arrived at 10 in the morning even though check in wasn't until 4 pm because they will hold your bags for you. They told us our assigned room on the 12th floor wasn't ready but they had an equivalent room on the 8th. So we were able to check in a whole 6 hours early and change into our suits in our room. They also have 24 hour valet service for your car. The condo was spacious and very clean. We had a balcony with a view of the ocean and it was breathtaking. The condo has 2 pools and a hot tub. One of the pools was heated. The beach was down a short palm tree and vegetation pathway which was beautiful. Once you came out of the compound gate, you crossed the small bike/walking path and were right on the beach. We were able to get two lounge chairs and a beach umbrella every day. We never drove the 3 days we were there because within 10 minutes walking distance each way there were numerous great restaurants. Fifi's Seafood on the Beach was outstanding. We had the Grilled Seafood BBQ for 2 -amazing! Love Brunch across the street was great for breakfast. Kalypso Beach at the Wyndham next door has excellent food and drinks. La Cabana Grill had amazing food also. The next block over there is a Publix and a Walgreens. The whole neighborhood felt very safe.

Nothing truly exceptional

The location is outstanding, overlooking the ocean, with easy access both to ocean and pools. At the ocean the hotel provides 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella, making a day at the beach, well--a day at the beach! There is a full kitchen and everything works. The beds are comfortable. There is a washer and dryer so wet towels can be dried without a problem. The balconies are gorgeous with tables and chairs. Like the ocean, the boardwalk is right behind the hotel, so long walks or biking are easy. The pools are clean and well-maintained.

They don't leave salt and sugar in the kitchen like many places do, so you have to buy everything yourself immediately. But there is a Publix and Walgreens quite close.

We traveled with our toddler and loved having the kitchen and laundry. We went to the Publix down the street and got basics for breakfasts and snacks. Loved eating on the balcony! Beach was right there and hanging out was easy. A couple blocks north are great restaurants- we walked 10-20 min to these each night and had no shortage of options. We much preferred the food to options we have had when staying further south. Valet was fast and easy.

The pull out was not very comfortable, there was no drain in the bathtub. Very minor.

Perfect lodging for quiet getaway. Apartment was nice, view was amazing. Staff was professional but not friendly. Asked for a late check out because of late flight, very rigid and inconsiderate. We are pretty self-sufficient, we travel a lot. First time in Miami, would probably pick different area to stay. WiFi needs improvement. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was a great price for the 1 bdrm apt with the beautiful ocean front view.

Didn’t expect so many children. Hot tub was unavailable being utilized as a warm pool for the children. Staff were rigid and not accommodating. WiFi went out in living room tv, unable to get it to work, call the number on instructions, no answer. Not a lot to do locally. Had to rent a car to explore.

We recently stayed at this property in Miami, and overall, we had a great experience. The rooms were impeccably clean and surprisingly spacious—especially given the reasonable price point for the area. Having a well-equipped kitchen was a fantastic bonus; we found everything we needed to prepare meals, which made our stay feel even more like a home away from home. The views from our seaside room balcony were simply breathtaking, and we loved starting our mornings looking out over the ocean. Another big plus was the complimentary valet parking. Parking in Miami can get pricey, so having this service included in our stay was a huge money-saver. For those who enjoy biking, there were Citibike stations nearby, making it convenient to explore the local neighborhoods. It was also great that grocery stores were within walking distance—perfect for grabbing essentials and snacks.

The only minor downsides were that there aren't as many activities here compared to South Beach, though we actually appreciated the calmer vibe away from the hustle and bustle. Also, the building is a bit older, and some public areas could use a little sprucing up, but the rooms themselves were modern and well-maintained.

Overall, it was fine. We got also a compliment from the hotel with water and some snacks. The hotel provides umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach with its provide zone. Also, the apartment was quite big, a corner one - so, with nice views both on the city and, partially, the beach.

The price was way too high for what we got. Also, you had to go through parking to get to the beach - not a nice way to get there, as you pass by the place with gasoline smell. Also, I had mentioned about having my birthday celebration, but got no mention on this (usually, the hotels were providing some surprise in relation to this and saying at least something like - Hey, happy birthday - but this didn't happen here). In general, a very strange feeling from the staff like none cares about the customer.

OMG, the View!!! I Booked the beachfront house(they gave me one on the 10th floor), and I got 'Wowwwww moment 'at sunrise time on Christmas day at 7:08 am. I am so glad I booked it at the last minute. It was the best decision made during the Miami trip. My friend is also very happy to wake up on the beach at sunrise. Also, the couch in the living room is a convertible bed! There is free valet parking, the lobby has coffee in the morning. 3-minute walk to the beach, and tons of restaurants down the street. Also full-kitchen set if you want to cook with small free snacks on the house. During my stay, I wake up for an early morning walk along the beach then drive along the coastline further south to Key West.

Appreciated the welcome treats. Loved how close we were to the beach and the balcony with perfect shade and view of the beach, not directly facing the ocean. Liked having a washer and dryer. Liked walking to nearby restaurants, market, using trolley and busses to move around Miami Beach.

The apartment needs a mirror, a club chair besides the couch to sit on, hooks to hang towels and clothes. The sliding glass door is very difficult to open. The kitchen needs a cutting board and a place to dry dishes on the counter and kitchen towels. The wrist IDs are very uncomfortable, possible to find a better way to id customers? An information book on the area with basic information on the apartment, the community, what is nearby...we found info on line, but for first timers in FLA, it would be helpful to have handy information also check out instructions.
