This was the third hotel on our Florida trip. Overall, I think the hotel is underrated, especially on Google Maps. I would rate it 4.2 out of 5 or 8.5 out of 10. The hotel is perfectly located, with direct access to a beautiful beach in the heart of Miami Beach. It offers its own parking, which is very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they take good care of the hotel. It is clean and well-maintained, which is impressive given the extremely humid Miami climate. The rooms are simple but equipped with all the necessary amenities for a short stay.

This seems to be common in Miami, but in addition to the hotel room cost, you need to factor in not only taxes but also a resort fee (mandatory, covering things like local phone calls, WiFi—which should be a standard service nowadays—and two sunbeds plus an umbrella on the beach, regardless of the weather or your plans), a parking fee, and breakfast. Most rooms that don’t face the street or the ocean (i.e., the majority of the rooms) face the wall of one of the neighboring buildings. During our stay, the main elevator was out of order. While this is likely a temporary issue, it could pose a challenge for guests with limited mobility. All in all, I would recommend this hotel, but be mindful of the points above and take them into consideration when planning your stay.

Location to the rear of the property is beautiful. Directly on the beach. Pool area is lovely as was the bar and restaurant. Rooms although not luxurious are comfortable and very pleasant, parking opposite the entrance to hotel but chargeable

Although only visited for one night we didn’t see the restaurant or bar open. I really feel the hotel are missing a trick here. We would have spent money in both had we been able. This was inconvenient and a shame as the seething is lovely. The property is on a one way Main Street, we drove by as the frontage is not very clear. There is no real drive on facility to drop bags other than parking on the sidewalk. The car park is opposite but takes a little finding with the one way system. Parking is charged which I feel should be included in this damn resort fee they all like to charge!

Check in with Angel was a pleasure. It was late and he made it bearable. Being able to get a bedtime cocktail was such a treat. I especially appreciated the hotel offering the ride service from the airport. It was so convenient, and everything worked out perfectly. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. The TV offered many channel selections, so I did not miss any of my regular shows. The pool is lovely, with direct beach, and boardwalk access. The adjacent bar and food service, with nearby restrooms really spoils you. A lot of good thought went into the design process here.

Whatever cleaning solutions are used in the room are really off-putting. I think perhaps it is used on the concrete floors. It is not a pleasant smell, and I could not open the windows to help air it out. The room was very clean, but the smell did not make it seem so. Perhaps an unscented choice would be better, or use a plug in air freshener to tame its odor would be helpful.

Great location. The property is just the perfect size! You are not overwhelmed with masses of people and you get to enjoy the amenities in a quieter setting. You are right on the beach and there was always enough chairs and umbrellas. Staff were all welcoming and very accommodating.

Umbrellas at the beach are only 9am-5pm. We came at 9am and the staff didn’t want to put the umbrella, we had to wait a little. He was a little rude. Not a biggie though… They don’t serve omelettes at breakfast. It was still okay though; anyone can find what to eat. They don’t have duvet covers so the blanket is between 2 sheets you have to keep in place. Shower (water only come from above and the pressure is not great) Really nothing special to complain about :) it’s a good hotel.

I think this hotel is underrated based on it's public ratings on booking and gmaps. The location is extremely good if you want to enjoy the beach. The hotel is right on the beachside with a very nice pool area. There's also a big, shady playground right next to it. The big buildings nearby are apartments, which mean the coast is a lot less crowded than as if they were hotels. There's wildlife on the beach, we saw a dolphin and a giant ray among other things. The sand is good (almost white, so not too hot) and the water gets more shallow after an initial deep part, great for snorkeling/picking seashells with kids. The restaurant is good, has a nice atmosphere, they were also quick. Breakfast is great too, with a very nice view. Most complaints I've seen are about the rooms (no windows, small and neighbouring buildings are nearby) but you can avoid these by picking a city view or seaview room. Those are spacious, and have a balcony. We were on city side, the road in front of the hotel is busy, but sound insulation was good. You have to pay for parking, but it's conveniently located. They do charge a deposit, but I got it back the day after we've left (I have a USD account led in a Hungarian bank) Overall the hotel felt cosy, it was not crowded, the location is extremely good, and we were happy with the services/amenities.

The elevator near our room was out of order. Breakfast was a bit understaffed, so it took more time than ideal to refill things/clean tables. For the deposit they only accept physical cards.

The location was perfect!!! The pool are and access to the beach are amazing. The room was comfortable, but at some of the other reviews state-there was a pretty strong smell..not bad, just very strong like chemical air fresheners or something. The room was nice and clean as were all the common areas. There was absolutely no view from the room, but for a hotel with a perfect location and nice amenities you really don’t spend much time in the room anyway. Would recommend!

The room is clean, comfortable with a nice walk-in shower. The location is excellent - right on the beach with a great pool complete with nearby bathrooms, a pool bar and restaurant. I love that it is a smaller property, so you are not overwhelmed by the walk to the beach, or back to your room for anything you may need. The hotel also provides beach chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost, and a low-cost parking lot right across the street. This is being spoiled in this area of Miami Beach. I lived in this neighborhood for eight years. The MB hotel makes it so easy to visit, so I do often. Next visit, I am going all out for a balcony room.

The room used to have a "too-clean" smell of cleaning products. The one I hated most - Fabuloso. That has been corrected, and this time, it had a pleasant scent. Clea but not overpowering. It was relaxing and did not offend my senses.
