I had everything I needed, a clean and comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. And having an apartment size fridge and the air conditioning already on when I walked into the room was an added bonus. The owner is a busy man, but he cares about his rooms snd who stays in his rooms, and you can see this in the renovations he is doing, with extra touches and not just the bare minimum or "good enough." For instance, my shower was newly and beautifully tiled, and came with body wash and shampoo dispensers on the wall, not just those little tiny bottles of shampoo you normally get. Also, the bathroom was genuinely clean, not just surface clean or "throw some bleach on it" clean, and there were ample towels. And thank you, kind sir, for the personal help you provided. I would stay here again.

Everything was satisfactory, and as a female traveling alone I felt safe.

I honestly had no complaints and I stayed a few nights without issue. Anything I needed or question I had he was.ready to help in any way he could. I liked the man that owns it more than the place itself. Sammy makes.the place a great option for me. Perfect!

It was small and quaint and clean

there was a car hauler parked on the side of the property that was broke with a flat tire directly where I had to back out of and i had to watch closely not to hit it

it is a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The owner of the motel is a hard worker in keeping the customers comfortable and feeling secure in their surroundings. Love that pets are allowed to stay without an high extra charge. The rooms are clean and have an apt size refrigerator and microwave with a small kitchenette sink and a couple of cabinets. There is a desk/ chair and also another lounge chair. also a dresser that has a decent amount of storage along with a granite top. Quite a bit of work has gone into improving the facility and it’s a process in work. Bottom line it is my go to place to stay when traveling thru Ocala and I will plug that next door the owner purchased the Shamrock Motel which I will stay in next visit. the Shamrock is designed for people who enjoy a whimsical and bohemian atmosphere that gives a relaxing atmosphere. The decor is awesome and I hear the managers go above and beyond in accommodations for visitors.

there is just one thing that I would like to see improved is an electrical outlet near the night stands. but I ask the owner for an extension cord so that helped!

The owner Sam was an absolute gem! Hard to find these days. He is definitely old school Florida. Full of charisma, class, caring, and just has a big heart. He truly cares for his guests. You can tell he has been doing this a long time. The hotel is definitely old school Florida. The room was clean and smelled wonderful when we arrived. Another thing about Sam that warmed my heart was that I woke up a tad under the weather and was running behind getting dressed (we were in town for a funeral), my husband asked if it would be ok if we stayed a little past check out and he told him that we were ok and not to worry. True compassion.

A few things that I personally did not care for, was the towels were a tad on the shorter side (I'm 5'10, hubby is 6'2) and the bed is not exactly the most comfortable thing in the world. However, I do have a bad back and most beds aren't super comfy to me. My husband slept perfectly fine. The bathroom was a TAD bit dirty, but I do not think that was done on purpose, due to the rest of the room being beautifully clean.

The beds were so comfortable the most comfortable bed I ever slept on at a hotel. The owner is so awesome and friendly he really cares about his customers. I will definitely be staying here again. The area is clean and quiet

There's NOTHING that I didn't like.

There was nothing wrong with this room. Plenty of room. I did not have that cramped feeling I have in some motels. The wall in the bathroom shows some damage, perhaps at the base. Otherwise, well kept. Fine AC. It did blow on me at my desk, but I just turned it off and back on later. A nice stuffed chair just under a reading lamp. There are no pans or dishes or silverware, but there is a nice little kitchen sink that makes cleanup easy. I always bring my own dishes. Silverware, ceramics. I know kitchen stuff gets stolen by some guests, and is not worth retrieving, but there are ways to both service the customer and protect the motel. In one motel in Biloxi, at the front office, I could get a box of pans and silverware and dish soap just by leaving a deposit. That seemed smart. Even if they just collected up plates and cups and pans from a thrift store, it would be fine. I was in Biloxi a week; I had brought nothing with me. The wall flower art prints here in Ocala were pleasant, if boring. Not all the walls were decorated. Motel art being what it usually is, I'm not certain having bare walls is a bad thing. Most bare walls beat the aesthetics of motel wall hangings. The paint was clean and seemed fine. The television worked great and it had my favorite no commercial TCM although I did not watch much TV. My neighbor had his on at 4 AM. I could not be so inconsiderate. Wonderful desk, unusually long and with good looking electrical hookups. Really two desks, one pulling out from under the other and perfect for my computer with room to eat as well. Plenty of electrical options in the room. Generally cheap rooms have few electrical options. Not here. However, remember to see that the desk electrical outlets are plugged in the wall. I did not remember until my computer went blank. Comfortable bed. I am just not fussy about beds. This one seemed fine. I did not fall asleep early. I guess the excitement of the day kept me awake.

Not having a full time person in the office is a real negative. The fellow was just grand when he was there, and he was there most of the time, but I'd prefer someone working the office 24/7 in case of an issue and for reasons of security.

This is a very clean room and the owner was wonderful and very understanding of our situation and emergency for family member

the manager/owner great people they helped me in the best way i was down on my luck and they helped me out . I WILL STAY there if i need a place to sleep or stay for any thing . the rooms are so clean i didnt even see 1 bug i am not used to staying in a hotel /inn that is so so so clean . thank you very much edward gagne

nothing not to like .but 1 thing road noise after 3.45 am. this hotel /inn is on the main road in ocala .

Was very clean. Super Hot water in the shower. Good cable tv a lot of options. Of channels. Feel secure.

Few cosmetic details, but is under remodelation.
