What isn't there not to like about this gem? The rooms are beautiful, clean, beds are super comfy, feels so much like home away from home and the little snack basket was the perfect touch. I had a horrible experience at another hotel while on vacation and this place is the reason I stayed a few extra days. Owner on site is super friendly and easy to talk to. Absolutely loved all the plants around the building, the way that it was kinda hidden but also out in the open and loved the gazebo 💕

Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the AC worked great. The only challenge was some of the standard amenities (towels, cups, hangers) weren't available. But the front desk staff was great and helped us where they could.

Each room had it's own challenge on these things. Hangers, Tissues, Towels, Cups. Maybe need a checklist for what would be standard for a room. Some of our rooms had towels, some didn't. Same thing for hangers, etc.

Very cozy and unique place. Each room has its own “theme”. Seating areas outside the rooms and walking distance to the square downtown. It’s old, so don’t expect the Hilton, but it has so much character and the staff is awesome. We stay here every time we go to Ocala, which is 2-3 times a year! Not a chain hotel, so you’re supporting the average citizen and not making a millionaire richer.

Safe location and king bed is nice

Second time staying here. Liked the first room better but still love the 5x mirror just could have been lower for me as I am 5”2’ and I enjoyed the tub better than showers. Bed not as comfortable this trip as must have had recent larger person leaving it saggy and in need of a replacement so not a bad reflection on the property. Did leave a message to change rooms and never got a call back so only stayed one day this time. Office could be open mornings pre checkout

I really like how each room is designed differently. It gives just a little bit more than what you’re paying for. Also, the gentleman at the front desk was nice and easy to talk to.

There wasn’t really much to dislike. I’m an easy person to please, but if I really had to nitpick some things could be a little more updated. But overall, I don’t think that’s the look that they’re really going for.

decor, convenient layout and extra appliances like microwave and fridge, large tv, big comfy bed, good amount of storage for clothes and bags, chairs to sit outside on a nice day. They also provided a nice Welcome goodie bag with chips, snack bars and large bottles of water free of charge. Convenient location to walk into historic downtown or drive to Silver Springs State Park. Staff responded immediately to a noise complaint and resolved the situation within minutes.

The staff was very friendly and let us check in early. The beds were comfortable and we were able to control the room temperature to our liking. The location was perfect. The whole place is being renovated.

Cute and super comfy bed. Rooms quite. Loved the fireplace and 5x mirror and long dressing mirror. Safe location with police across the street and if you need car looked at also across the street Firestone total auto car. Super great for couples or singles. Staff friendly

Tub could be better for bath as drain didn’t shut. Maybe better lighting and plug ins but no true complaints quaint and definitely stay again!

The best Motel we have stayed in!! Welcome snacks on arrival was a lovely touch & the rooms are so individually beautiful. Sure, they are retro but that just adds to the charm of this place. No deposit required which was a bonus & the bed was unbelievably comfy, perfect for our one night stay!

The little extra touches to make it feel homey. The chairs and table out front....to the rack for hanging your clothes .. especially getting there late and having the light on and AC already on for me...super sweet
