I am very happy to say that after several years if staying only here in Punta Gorda it was completely great. In multiple surveys I had concerns about the furniture and no umbrella at the pool. Families unable to use it because of the heat and no cover from the sun. This trip was great. The pool had new furniture and even though there was only one, the umbrella was a godsend. My husband was able to sit out with me. We did see other older fold enjoying the day out under the umbrella. Thank you!

Clean streamlined welcome overall and keen attention to communal areas. Variety at breakfast and pleasant dining space. Regretfully, had not realized there is a fitness room on the premises, which would have been a plus with more time.

Might have enjoyed a better tucked room as I could hear the highway traffic during the night. Staff had accommodated me for the double bedroom (as originally reserved) but I did not anticipate hearing traffic. Great beds but not sound proof.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nice large pillows. The bathroom was fantastic. large shower. Good water pressure. I liked the soap and shampoo dispensers. The soap was nice. I loved the dispensers. The sink and lighting and nightlight were great. Layout of entire room and bathroom was great. I liked the shade on the window. This was the best hotel I’ve stayed in

My husband and my self love this place very much,all the staff were very friendly and helpful indeed they went out of their way to accommodate us ! Stephanie and the gentleman that worked at the front desk was really helpful I forgot his name though Ronald I think he checked us in late one night we were driving from Ma. My awesome husband drove 24 hours nonstop only for food and drinks and gas ! We were sooo tired couldn’t even walk being in our truck for hours on end! Mrs. Debbie and her husband Ron do the breakfast bar in the morning which was out of this world so good everything they had sausage they had the sausage patties they had eggs they had cheese omelettes. They had bacon they had you name it cereal they had it they had everything underneath the sun for breakfast they served they were wonderful. Also, there ! The young lady that does all the laundry. She was really a nice lady also and our beds were made they were wonderful they were so they looked like they were ironed the beds were clean and very comfortable and the place was immaculate  so very comfortable. It was like sleeping on clouds.  the lady that cleaned the rooms was so sweet. I think her name was Beverly but I’m not sure I lost my card that they wrote their names down on and I apologize that I don’t remember ! so I’m going by memory here. It’s a place that I would really want to stay at again. It’s a holiday Xpress and it’s in Port Charlotte Florida. I would recommend it to anybody that is looking for comfort and you want to be spoiled and clean and it was immaculate. The place was just it looked like a model hotel ,because it was so clean. It was just wonderful and you will not be sorry whatsoever.

Safe we liked everything about the property. They have cameras everywhere so you don’t have to worry about your vehicles. 

The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was just right, and the pillow options were good for us. The breakfast had plenty of options. The staff was friendly and helpful if we needed something. The pool was beautiful and clean.We enjoyed our stay.

Honestly, we were pretty happy with everything!

Breakfast was good. Maybe an 8 or 9. The cinnamon rolls were awesome! Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. Clean.

Having a smart tv would be nice. Couldn’t cast for streaming but maybe that was operator error.

Breakfast was such a surprise; the variety and quality were very good. This place was loaded with amenities, if you needed something they had it!

The rate for the room I felt was on the high side, but you get what you pay for, and it was very clean and comfortable.

Very clean, easy to get to from the airport, comfortable bed, and everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great for a hotel - fresh cinnamon rolls, pancakes, cereal, sausage, omelets, potatoes.

The room had a good layout and was clean. The shower was especially good.

The breakfast was disappointing, as usual. The hot items like eggs and biscuits are the worst. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels so many times I usually stick to fruit and oatmeal unless I'm eating breakfast out. All Holiday Inn Express's have the same problem, so it's not an issue only at this location.

The hotel was an amazing experience, and the location was perfect as we used the Punta Gorda airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. No complaints or issues. Will stay again during our next visit to SW FL.
