Super location about 5 minutes from my sister's house. The pool area and fitness room looked nice, but I didin't use either. There is a little bistro on site for breakfast but I didn't eat there. The room was clean and quiet, but a little on the small side (it was fine for 1 person).

There wasn't much of a view since the room faced out to the parking lot. However, the room was close to the door to the parking lot making it handy. There is a small lanai outside the sliding door with a partial wall which provides privacy. The interior rooms face onto the central pool area. If you are there to relax during the day get one of those rooms.

Easy access

We had a handicap room. Part of my handicap is mobility issues to include balance. I did not find the tub shower combo to be safe. What should have been a 15 min shower took me around 40 min. The hand held was not quite long enough for me to be able to clean all of my parts. Should I stay here again I will bring my own mat to keep from slipping. I did appreciate the fold down seat and grab bars. I ended up having to cut off the water and let all of the water drain then grab a towel to dry the tub floor before a felt safe to stand and get out.

I liked the bistro bar and I also like the the room had a sliding door with patio doors it chairs from our room leading right to the pool, the bed was extra comfy and I love that the tv had apps like Netflix, YouTube etc., I will definitely be visiting again. We also had extended check out time that was no charge, the front desk ladies were super nice.

The room didn’t have a microwave, which still isn’t a bad thing because they still have a microwave at the front lobby for guests to use.

We left Quality Inn-Macon Rd due to a drug party & some very sketchy customers. (It had a decent rating on Booking.) We came to Mariott & it was so safe & clean!!! The staff made sure to place our rooms together, instead of 5 doors down like other hotel (which we had booked a month ahead). I was very happy to pay the upgrade for what ended up being a wonderful 4 day stay!! Thank you to Dana for helping us get checked in and for the various staff who were so sweet. It was also close enough for our newly turned green soldier to stay with us and still be within the mileage limitation. :-)

Only complaint was that their little restaurant wasn't open for dinner, only breakfast, which wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was sooo good! Otherwise, this will be the only place we stay at in this area.

The cook to order breakfast was very nice. Disappointed that coffee is not served with breakfast. That it costs between 2 and 3 dollars or so to get a cup of coffee because it is Starbucks. disappointed in choices of What I can have to drink with my nice, wonderful breakfast.

Disappointed in the choices of TV channels. As we spent a good bit of our evening in our room. If you are sports fan you have lots of channels, but if you want to watch something like Sundance, Hallmark, Nickelodeon it's not available. Need to have family oriented programming available. We're not coming back to that location, Solely based on the TV channels available.

Location and staff

Our first room, we unfortunately discovered it had bedbugs, but we immediately put into a new upgraded room by the staff who are very helpful

The bathroom did not have a fan. And the bed wasn't as comfortable as I like it to be.

They were very nice. I absolutely loved that I had a patio door and I could park my car right outside my door. The area was safe and close to everything I needed.

Pool and common area

Room not fully cleaned, used soap- toilet not flushed or cleaned, no trash bags. Breakfast use to continental breakfast.
