The staff was friendly! They accommodated my special requests. The room was clean and nice. The hotel was quiet. The price was very reasonable

While I was using the bathroom the housekeeper opened my door at 9am without even knocking! It wasn’t even close to check out time. It was rude and 3 hours before check out time. I also had requested a late check out time of 12 because I had a test to take around the corner and wanted to have a quiet place to study until then. The front desk staff was very generous in granting me this request. Not sure why it wasn’t communicated with her. She should have at least knocked especially with it NOT even close to check out.

The coffee was good and available throughout our stay! The room was big and clean. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was close to the highway and had many restaurants.

We did not like the breakfast. The pre-packaged sandwiches were overdone and hard. We went out to breakfast. We were not sure what was going on with the room key cards. There were 3 people in our party, but we were only allowed to have one room key card. This made it difficult when our son wanted to use the gym and we wanted to go out to get dessert. We managed, but it was inconvenient. The manager on duty said she only had enough cards for the rooms reserved that evening.

We stayed here a couple of months earlier in the Summer and liked it so much I immediately chose it for this second trip. The rooms are big, clean, and quiet. The front desk person didn't get flustered with an issue at check in and stuck with researching the issue to get it resolved pretty quickly.

There was a hiccup at check in. Someone with a similar name and confirmation number checked in earlier in the day. The staff person who checked them in didn't check ID or selected the wrong guest name after checking the ID. Somehow they checked that person in as me, so when I arrived I was not in the arrival system. It took a bit of time to get that figured out and get me checked in. It was annoying and delayed me getting to my room. The person working on checking me in did a great job of fixing the situation.

The staff was extremely friendly. When checking in there was a computer issue and the lady at the front desk remained calm and worked efficiently to fix it. They also read our notes upon booking and gave us the end room as requested. The bed was extremely comfortable and location was very convenient to interstate. Needed a place to rest as a halfway point and this was it :) Grab and go breakfast was easy on our way out.

Our bathroom floor looked 1/2 clean. Not terrible, but def missed a few spots. Hotel itself could use some minor detail work (broken piece on wall and floors mopped and vacuumed better). But, the bed was extremely clean and that’s the important part. Overall, good value.

I liked how the staff checked up on me with text messages as well as with messages on the tv to see how my stay was. The facility was also very clean.

The breakfast could have been better. Not everyone gets down there bright and early to eat, the breakfast needs to be restocked even if it’s 9am we still deserve to get that breakfast sandwich. There was never any fresh fruit or good selection of protein.

Avid is a great hotel chain overall. I have never had a bad experience in any of their locations. Just like at all locations, staff at this one were so nice and friendly. Room was great, place was quiet, breakfast at these are grab and go, but they are so good. One thing I noticed about Avid hotels, thy create an atmosphere where people hangout and socialize in the lobby. You don't see that anywhere! It creates a friendly atmosphere that makes the place more welcoming.

Convenient location. Parking was great. I lucked up and was able to see my car from my room. No noise. Two cheerleading squads were there during our time (they were above us and a few on our same floor) and we didn’t hear them at all. We were also right across from the elevator and we barely heard it ding or open and shut. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and well put together. As women, we greatly appreciated the makeup remover wipes (best wipes I’ve ever used)! The TVs are updated. It is personalized to the person who booked the room. It was really cute seeing my name on it. You can cast from your phone as well so we were able to stream our favorite shows/movies. Also, you can checkout on the TV. I just had to drop the keys off at the desk and go. I highly recommend staying here.

The linens had spots on them. It looked like makeup or dirt from another guest. We just pushed it down out the way.

The size of the handicapped room was enormous. The TV was beautiful. The lobby was very inviting and the room was easy to get to. The outdoor fireplace was different and an added bonus. The breakfast setup was unique and different. Every thing was fresh. The Dove products in the bathroom sealed the deal as someone was thinking about the skincare of the guest. Game Changer!!! Speed of the check- in was excellent.

I was told by the front desk agent to look up my rewards points number and to return to the desk when I had it. She didn't attempt to look it up. As a former front desk agent/ night auditor( Marriott, Wingate, Holiday Inn Express), we had the capability of searching for it and entering it manually for the guest.

Excellent value, and front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Room provisions were as described and functional. Plentiful coffee 24/7 in the lobby was a welcomed feature.

The room was a little small, although the King size bed was appreciated. Room appeared clean overall, but the floors seemed 'sticky' and sheets had stains.

Shonda, I believe was the woman who checked us is, she was excellent, she went above and beyond to accommodate and assist. More then I expected. Very satisfied with the staff, room could have used some supplies but other than that it was excellent. Wish there was a few more options for breakfast, but wasn't bad for the price. Only downside to our stay was that the beds were a little high for my elderly grandmother, I had to lift her up into the bed. We're both 5' 2"... will stay again, next time we come through.
