I booked this hotel to give my mom a "Staycation" for Mother's Day weekend. The room size was decent, the bed and sleeper couch were comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety and the seating area for lounging was also nice. On our last night, we sat down there, watched the game, played cards and had a couple of glasses of wine! The indoor swimming pool was bigger than I expected which allowed me get in a good swim. The gym was spacious, not much equipment, but a lot wasn't needed.

It got off to a rocky start, as when I checked in after a flight from Baltimore and a ride from the ATL airport, the water was not working. That meant no shower or bathroom until it was fixed, which was about another hour after my 3pm check-in time. Once the water was on, of course it took another 2 hours before the water got hot. I learned this after attempting to take a shower twice. Speaking of the shower, while attempting to take a cold shower I notice a significant amount of mold/mildew around the shower floor. House cleaning came and bleached it down while my mom and I were in the room. Nonetheless it was cleaned. Although the swimming pool was bigger than I anticipated, the bottom of the pool was gritty and I regretted not having my swim shoes with me.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We had 2 adults, and 4 children mostly teens) and the queen beds and trundle sofa were perfect. The bathroom was nice because there were two rooms that both had sinks that allowed people to get ready more easily. The temperature controls worked well on the a/c so we were able to keep it cool while sleeping. The breakfast was amazing. So many really great choices and way better than most hotels we have been to. It was constantly replenished so they never ran out of anything. The staff were all very friendly. There was a nice pool although we didn’t get to use it as we were there only overnight.

They could have provided more towels in the room. Everything else was really great!

It’s right off I75, less than 5 minutes to food/ stores. The staff was very friendly when we arrived. It’s a beautiful hotel. Breakfast was top tier- biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs and sausage, muffins, oatmeal with a ton of different toppings. It was wonderful! The staff did a great job keeping it stocked. I thought our room was very spacious and clean. We only stayed one night since we were just traveling through on our way to Florida. We stayed on a Friday night so it was fairly busy.

The only thing that bothered me was the odor of marijuana in the lobby/elevators. It was very pungent, it usually doesn’t bother me. I know it’s not the hotels fault but I wish there was a strict: no stinky stuff sign/rule. for certain guests who decide to bring it in with them.

Close to the interstate with easy access. It was clean but did have the slight odor of marijuana in the room.

The room did have a slight odor of marijuana in the room. There was some piece of equipment left in the room that could have easily been tripped over. Hotel was made aware at checkout. I was under the impression it was to remove that odor. But was forgotten.

Bedding was comfortable and bathroom very clean. Front desk staff friendly. Breakfast selections better than most.

Our bank statement showed a charge of $30 more than the hotel invoice. When we checked with the hotel by phone we were told that it was an "incidentals fee" and would be removed if there were no issues ( I suppose with our room) within a day or two. It would have caused us less inconvenience if this had been related to us at check in.

The staff was the best part here. The room was nice, but the smell indicated that house cleaning had not touched it recently.

The bathroom doors did not shut all the way, and multiple locks did not work. We put the security bar on the door to "lock it", but never got either of the bathroom door locks to work. There was odd spotting and smell from the sheets, and there were only two clean bathroom towels.

It was nothing special / it just let us get on the road without stopping somewhere else

Tried to change stay one nite from Thursday to Wednesday and it was like trying to get the nuclear codes from the government don’t understand this all because it was done by booking.com NEVER AGAIN

Hallway - need elevator location sign on ceiling MAJOR - Room freshener smell was overpowering - decent flavor but way too strong Tiny soaps, no towel rack or hooks in shower Bed not comfortable - too soft or old Toilet rocked forward and back Fridge door opened the wrong way

Very clean facilities and rooms! The convenience snacks in the lobby came in handy. I chose this place because of the pool and it did not disappoint. This is an excellent place to stay for families. The breakfast exceeded my expectations and had something for everyone.

We were only here one night. I can't think of anything which didn't meet my expectations that won't sound very picky. The pocket door to the toilet was so heavy a 10 year old could barely close it. If you have littles and get the same type of room I did, they're going to need help with closing the door. The mattress was medium firmness (meaning not very firm at all) which was fine for a single night.

The room had a seperate water closet and shower, microwave and refrigerator all nice, but most importantly the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner actually worked and cooled the room to the temperature it was set at. Based on my wife's reaction we will favor staying at Marriot properties in the future

Wifi was down in the AM, too many people in for the breakfast in the AM. In the hotels defense, it is the week of July 4th travel.
