What I liked was the beautiful art deco decor. The pool is fabulous. There’s also that lovely spa smell throughout the hotel. The staff overall was professional and nice. Shout out to Andrew who was super helpful. The room was a really good size. The bed was comfy and room was clean. Also they have Dyson hair dryers. Wow! And linen drink napkins. Those touches set this hotel from others. There were minor hiccups my first day but they were able to quickly address the issues.

There were hiccups my first day. The pool was closed due to a wedding. I did not get an email about the closure. But the staff got me an uber to use a day pool pass at another hotel. Also the tv in my room did not work so I was moved to another actually nicer room. Overall I was happy with how they addressed the problem.

Stylish, chic and for us the location. We were able to lounge poolside when we were not exploring. And enjoyed our room when the monsoon came down upon us. Lottie, the teenage ghost that haunts the hotel messed with our electric outlets and lights, but had a nice little conversation or rather a plea for her to stop and she did. Be kind to her and she will be kind to you.

The refrigerator in the rooms too full of product. We purchased some items from farmers market and needed to get creative with rearranging. One instance when they thought someone went to get our car but realized about 20 minutes later no one had. Do not get room service: one carrot and a swipe of hummus. I love the look of the hotel but not sure the service is up to par for the price of the hotel. The pool is for both members and hotel guests, we were witness to a couple confrontations. Get there early to get a chair.

Lovely facilities, very clean room. Staff at the front door and at the check in desk were excellent. Franklin, the Hotel car driver was wonderful! The staff at the Green Room behind the bar, especially during the day we're hit or miss. One young man was super attentive but the other staff seemed either nervous or inconvenienced if asked for assistance. it wasn't clear if there was table service or not or what was available regarding food options unless you asked. Had breakfast one morning and ordered toast and eggs. We thoughts it was very expensive for what you got. Nothing distinguished this from a basic diner meal yet we were charged over $23.00. They need to do better in the Green Room if this is what you plan to charge for a very basically uninspired breakfast. I think the staff, at least some, not all, we're very inexperienced or not well trained in customer service.

see above.

-The design including the landscaping, the lobby (i loved the oversized coffee table books), the wallpaper, the greenhouse, the pool design, the outside bar… it was all a wow Loved the location. The park is magnificent. The neighborhood restaurants and coffee shop (thanks to the night staff for giving us the suggestion of Black Rabbit which started our exploration of local establishments), the perfect walk to the South Historic Area. The cooking class experience was first class! Chef Matt is a gem! Loved the size of the rooms! Loved the fresh bottled water in the room with the quality glasses. Loved the surprise of a Dyson hairdryer!

Please offer lattes in the morning!

Most beautiful hotel I have ever been at. We came to this hotel to evacuate from Hurricane Milton and they were so accommodating. Everyone right down to the Janitorial staff made our stay so comfortable. You have a valet there at the front who not only parks your car but helps you with your bags, takes them to the room, opens the hotel door every time you enter and makes sure all your needs are met. The front desk goes above and beyond to accommodate, they give next level customer service and really make you feel welcome. The bar is beautiful and the drinks are amazing! The restaurant 😍 I cannot express the level of care they put into every detail, they are simply amazing. In the midst of a tragedy, they turned every opportunity into a positive welcoming experience. And the price for the Grade A level customer service and quality of the room you get is TOP NOTCH. I will be back and I will stay here every time I come to visit. There is no better hotel in Savannah, this is it! The rooms are big, the beds are beyond comfortable, and the room is stocked with a bar, snacks, and drinks to mix with your spirits. I can't recommend this hotel enough!!!!! I've stayed in 4 diamond hotels that aren't as nice as this. Location is also really fantastic, it is within walking distance of everything, we never once pulled our car to drive anywhere. The view and local is breathtaking. This is a must stay if traveling to Savannah

Hotel Bardo is drop dead gorgeous. Staff was so welcoming on arrival, and I’m still dying over the decor throughout the property. We were so thankful we chose this location versus staying down by the water. The hotel is directly across from Forsyth Park and a really lovely walk from all the shops and restaurants. We never got in the car again after checking in, and just chose to walk everywhere for the two days we were in town! Parking is valet only but just roll with it- they park all the vehicles in a gated lot from what we could see. It is what it is. Be aware that the city of Savannah has a lot of events, and the morning we checked out, there was a 5k happening outside the property. No big deal for us, but an absolutely heinous guest was berating the check in staff about the valet parking drop off/pick up changes and being insanely ugly. The staff was being so calm, but gosh, it was uncalled for. I hope she reads this and feels ridiculous. Loved our stay so much that I’m coming back this month with my sister! Thanks again!

Location is fantastic. Property opened in February and the service is 5 star. Gorgeous updated art deco vibe off the largest and most beautiful park in Savannah.

One of the advantages to staying at the hotel is access to a private bar for hotel guests. When we finished dinner and headed back to the hotel, we were told there was a buyout and it was closed for a private event. The pool was also going to be closed the next day for a wedding. The hotel grounds/gathering places are the reason to stay at the Bardo, so find out what is open when you're planning to go.

Location is superb- right across from Forsyth Park and easy walking to the riverfront. Staff were incredibly helpful And friendly ( Thank You Tanara, Aaron, Patricia , Amy and the various other lovely people whose names I didn’t catch…) . Outdoor sitting and pool were great, as was conservatory where we read for hours…

We had a few complaints- no shelf space in the beautiful bedroom. - music by the pool was very loud but when asked , it was turned down - ‘breakfast’ was included in our package- hot drinks, pastries, fruit. Anything more extensive was charged….

Each day until 11:00 am the lobby bar was set up with an assortment of pastries, fresh hot coffee, teas, and several types of dairy and nondairy milks. There was a house car that drove you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel free of charge. There was a refrigerated still and sparking water station on each floor. Centrally located across from a huge park and they offered free bikes for both adults and children. The weekend morning yoga and Pilates were expertly instructed in a beautiful indoor setting. On Saturday during the day there was a complimentary gelato and sorbet station by the pool. Every staff member that we interacted with was incredibly friendly. The room was in pristine condition each day after housekeeping service, they provided robes, slippers, umbrellas, a safe, a mini fridge, and several types of Nespresso pods. Every single inch of the hotel was so beautifully and tastefully decorated. It was a work of art, I’m still in awe of our experience.

Really reaching to think of something that I disliked because our stay was so flawless. There was no ice machine available to guests. However, if you called guest services someone brought it up to your room within 5-10 minutes. Housekeeping also refilled the ice bucket when they cleaned the room each day.

Absolutely everything. It’s beautifully decorated, posh, relaxed vibes, wonderful pool, great meeting places, over the top restaurant Saint Barbiana. Rooms are spacious and gorgeous. Location on Forsyth Park is perfect. What really makes this hotel is its people at every turn. From valet gents, to great front desk staff, bar staff at the Green Room to Bibi (pool bar). The staff in the beautiful redone Saint Barbiana are fabulous, the Chef and staff have gone out of their way to create one of the top restaurants in Savannah!

Can’t think of anything!
