The house was so lovely and the location was amazing. We were close to great places to eat and only about a mile to downtown. We walked everywhere and always felt safe. The room was so comfy and we loved climbing through the window/door to sit on the balcony. The food served was amazing. There was a nice variety prepared in the mornings and they put out brandy and appetizers at 5, followed by the most amazing desserts every night. There was a 24 hr coffee/tea bar which we really appreciated. There was a full sized refrigerator/freezer with ice maker for our use and a microwave with free popcorn. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would stay again if ever in the area.

There was nothing

Loved my room and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I also thought the appetizers and bread were delicious. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, (windows and lugging my luggage up those stairs). I wish I had had time to jump into that nice pool, but I had to drive home the next day unfortunately. My room was perfect and my bed SO comfortable! The only drawback was the location was WAY far away from the riverfront, but at the same time I loved being so close to Forsthye Park. I also enjoyed those murals on the walls.

The location was at the very outer edge of the historic district, which made walking down to the river hot and long on a summer day. I also think parking should be free. This B&B stay was the first time I have had to pay for parking, and I have stayed a several different B&Bs in Savannah in the past.

The breakfasts we were served was very nice. The staff was welling to make adjustments to the menu for us. When there was an issue with the fireplace in my room, it was quickly addressed and fixed. All of the employees were friendly and helpful.

The downstairs stayed cold. Other than when the fireplace was turned on by the staff, there didn’t seem to be any heat. It wasn’t comfortable to me to relax in the parlor because it was cold. When we inquired about rates to stay later in the year, was shocked at how expensive it would be. We would not be able to spend that much.

Everything was first class! This was our first time in Savannah and Scott explained everything at check in! He gave us great restaurant recommendations, showed us where important things on the map were and made sure we were comfortable and felt at home. Breakfast was excellent. I was truly amazed at the service and how welcoming and helpful everyone was. Would stay there again!!

No free parking but at $15 a day, it's a lot cheaper than the garages or trying to find something on the street.

very comfortable stay. when there was an issue with the air conditioning it was promptly addressed. Everyone was wonderful!!!

There wasn't a single thing that I didn't like. The only suggestion I would have for improvement would be that maybe there could be some sort of chest of drawers to put your clothes in. i don't care for leaving my clothes in my suitcase for a whole trip. I consider that minor and otherwise everything was great!

Beautiful and well maintained. The food (breakfast and nightly dessert) was so amazing. The staff is amazing and our cook was so good and sweet. There was Brandy sitting out for a night cap, our room had a balcony that I used every day and a perfect walk to everything you need. Just don’t try and sneak out or come in late…the stairs are creaky as your parents were!!

Beautiful. Pool was great, balcony was perfect. I loved leaving the half door closed and stepping thru. Added to the old feel of the home. Coffee, tea, brandy at your beck and call. Coke and water for an honor system. Fresh flowers and places to sit everywhere.

Each morning we had a different breakfast prepared for us and served in the dining room. The food was very good and filled us to start each day with a lot of walking. This is nicely restored 1880s home in the historic district. We prefer to stay in old homes that are B&Bs away from the lively nightlife. Check in was easy and the manager gave us a lot of good information about Savannah along with a map and suggestions of things to see and where to dine. All of the employees were friendly, personable and helpful. There is a private courtyard in the back with a pool. We sat out in that area for a little while at night but did not get in the pool. This home is very near Forsyth Square. We are walkers and had no problem walking all the way to River Street and around the historic area. They have sherry in the parlor in the evening as well as desserts for guests.

My husband and I stayed at this charming inn for several nights. The room was perfect, along with its private balcony where we sat each morning and evening! The breakfast each morning was delicious and we loved the little extras - sherry in the parlour and dessert served to the guests each evening. The staff and the service were impeccable and made us feel at home. The location is on a quiet street near Forsyth Park and only moments from restaurants and shops. We can't say enough about this wonderful place and would return in a heartbeat!

Very welcoming and you were so well looked after and made to feel special. The breakfasts were delicious and there was sherry and desert in the evening. A lovely old inn. Savannah is a beautiful place with lots of squares, history and great places to eat.

Beautiful property and the staff

Our room (Gentlmen’s Parlor) was very small considering the rate paid versus the rate for other larger rooms in the Inn. Room had only one small desk chair to sit on. There was only room for one suitcase and the other suitcase had to sit on the small bench at the foot of the bed or if two people wanted to sit down, the second suitcase had to be moved off the small bench and placed on the very small floor area in the room; which required you to step over it everytime you moved around.
