Not having to pick up keys and being assigned a code to enter was great. This makes entry easy since we had to arrive late and also it eased my mind to not have to keep track of an extra key during my visit. The unit was clean and included dishes to use. The pool was super clean the whole time and the landscapers on site keep the property really nice and clean and they are really polite. Got to say hi to the onsite manager and they were really polite as well and welcoming. Washer and dryer area were clean and good to use. Proximity to see the ocean and turtles was amazing. Property is quite and relaxing. Wifi available and Cable TV were great speed. The provided shampoo, body lotion and body wash were great too and the small kit with detergent and dishwashing soap came in super handy. Towels were provided for restroom use and for pool use. No bugs were found during our stay which is great and shows that the property does care about keeping the unit serviced.

The property does not have AC system. However, they were very upfront about this and the nights during my stay were perfect to leave the windows open. There were 3 ceiling fans that helped but the bedroom fan needs to be replaced as it does not work very well. They do have 2 standing fans that did help make the room feel cooler for sure but replacing the bedroom celling fan is needed. Removing the carpet from the room and living room will definitely give the room a cooler feel and a small upgrade as the carpet feels sticky and old and causes the unit to heat up more compared to other rooms in the property we saw that had tile throughout the home. The door screen in our room did not securely latch and needs to be repaired for safety reasons.

Excellent location to the beach. The room is part of a very very well maintained resort property. You can use common water cleaning and AC bathrooms for change after visiting the beach. There’s an awesome swimming pool. There was a welcome gift for us in the room. The room’s locks, beds, curtains, lights, fans, AC, microwave, dishwasher, toilets etc. are well maintained. There are clean utensils, plates, dishwasher, laundry detergent provided. There’s a fantastic paid laundry room. There is a rapid response from Vacasa support team on any need except for bedding/ toilet accessories. The room seemed a bit dated with creaking chairs and stained carpets besides that everything in the room worked well. There’s a store at the main level with nice coffee and breakfast options. You can go for a lovely safe walk in the AM. Loved this place.

Birds kept popping on the rental car hood for the assigned car spot. Would be great to provide additional towels/toilet accessories.

VIEW's and the turtles🤩😍 Pool was nice and in a good place. It was easy to grill dinner while watching the sunset (and turtles). Apartment was amazing and in good condition, kitchen included everything what was needed. Apartment was oceanly decorated. It was really nice to receive welcoming package😍. Washing machines (close to office)made live a bit easier. Perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay in MAUI.

Lower sheets could have been cleaner- seems like these are not changed often. Air condition would make this place 10+.

​My stay at this place made my vacation absolutely perfect. The accommodation was incredibly thoughtful, with all the right amenities. The pool was stunning, and getting to see turtles up close still feels like a dream. If I ever visit Maui again, I would love to stay here.

No aircon but except that everything's perfect.

Location, location, location….nestled between the islands of Molokai & Lanai we had a wonderful whale show & occasional dolphin show daily. Up to 40 turtles would come up on shore to sunbathe. We were there in Feb/March. While we had no beach it was just or short walk to one or a short drive to many. It was just far enough away from busy Lahaina yet close enough that you were there in about an 8 min drive. The property was very well kept & the pool well maintained & heated.

Needs updating. While I can’t speak for every unit ours was in need of new carpet on stairs, new mattresses etc. It was very dated with torn carpet on the balcony. No air conditioning so if you are up in the loft it can be warm. Needed more pots. Had only 1 very large pot. Not enough supply of dishes. While we had booked for 6 we only had 4 dinner plates, 4 luncheon plates. etc. Because of the spectacular ocean view we overlooked a lot of what was inside the condo. Parking was tight. We were home early enough to find a spot we could fit into. Just felt that for the cost of this condo we should have had one more updated. Was so not impressed with the inside I have no pics to share.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very cosy and has everything you need. There’s a beautiful beach nearby where we saw turtles — such a special experience. The only downside is that there’s no air conditioning, which can be a bit uncomfortable at times. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The property was incredible. This was my second staying at Mahina during my time in Maui. I was staying in a different unit than the first time. This unit was it you said a little further back than the first but still absolutely lovely. Jimbo, the manager on the property, was really wonderful and tried upgrading me back to the room I had in the first part of my stay (a unit closer to the water) and updated me on how much the cost difference would be. I decided to  stay with this unit, and it all worked out well; I appreciated him going above and beyond for me. I won’t forget the sound of the crashing waves and the time I spent sitting on the lanai. I will miss this home away from home.

This unit did have a minor minor ant issue. Super minor. I just squished them when I saw a few in the bathroom here and there. They were tiny ants- I come  from the East Coast where we have very big ants, so these were no issue for me.

This hotel is phenomenal. I have stayed at mini hotels around the world, and this one will take a spot in the top 3. A part of me doesn’t want to write a review for fear that people will discover my hidden gem secret spot that I will now always stay at in Maui. The location was a 10 minute drive from downtown Lahaina, which made a remote enough to be super quiet but close enough to be accessible to the fun and action in any direction (down to Lahaina or north to kaapali). The cherry on top? The manager, Jimbo, was highly communicative. He kept me updated on when my room would be ready, made sure my stay was comfortable and I had what I needed, and was an absolute joy to speak to. He even came to say goodbye to me on my last day, which made it feel homely.  His kindness and warm gestures made it feel like the home away from home that I was looking for.

Honestly, nothing.

This was a perfect holiday spot. Extremely well equipped kitchen, beautiful location and very clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We loved the BBQ ammenities, gorgeous pool, and well kept grounds.
