The staff were very welcoming and we were offered a selection of upgrades, but choose to remain the room we had booked. We stayed in block 4 and the 'partial see view' from our room was amazing. There is additional parking by this block, next to the tennis court I highly recommend an evening or two in the Bar and Grill. The staff are lovely and helpfu, evening coulture events of music, hula dancing and cliff dive were wonderful pleasant. We had dinner in here several evenings during our stay. Grounds and gardens are spacious and very well maintained. I was one of several guests who enjoyed watching the palm trees being trimmed. There were some guests who felt it acceptable to leave used coffee cups, towels etc. anywhere they pleased, but staff were very quick to clean up after them. Some areas could be updated, but given the Islands, to be praised, sustainabilty goals, I am more than happy to stay in a hotel that does keep refurbishing.

Location, loved the wrist band key card!! Loved the daily activities- we fed the koi and made a lei. My granddaughter loved that!!

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast buffet. The seating outside was wonderful, but the actual food choices could have been better. They had better buffets in the 3rd world country of Peru that was included in the price of the hotel!!! Come on Sheraton. I was also frustrated about the chair situation. People would come down at 6am and put towels on the pool chairs and then go have breakfast. I saw one family come back from breakfast, grab some of their stuff off the chairs (but left the rest) and went to the beach. This left no seating for people who just wanted to swim for an hour or so-

The rooms were very spacious and excellent location. We stayed in the Moana apartments and only issue was they were a bit far away and the lift service was slow but worth it as rooms were excellent

The hotel was right on the beach. The pool was not to busy and could always fine a lounger. The cafe and bars always gave great service with a smile

Its location. Close proximity to Black Rock for cliff diving and snorkelling. Also a short walk to Whalers Village.

Expensive. Didn’t feel like it was value for money. Also BYO snorkel equipment and you need to book ahead for the luau, Teppanyaki Dan and any diving activities.

The room was clean and quiet. The resort was beautiful and beach was great.

There was an odd puddle of water that kept seeping up from the carpet under the air conditioner, and the furniture was a little run down. The closet doors were off the rails and broken. Room 3327

Only 2 things...would have liked more food choices for in-room dining or even take out availability at resort restaurants for the couple nights when reservations were hard to get. And too many kids without appropriate parental supervision on our couples getaway

Our room was great, with ocean view and right in front of the pool and the beach. It was great and the pool very nice as well. We had Cabana Reservation for one of the days, it was very nice as well. The Resort is in a great location.

The only thing we didn’t really like is the fact that we were not able to book any reservations for dinners, the few places available at the Resort were booked way ahead of time, we did not know we had to make reservations for dinner, it was our first time in Hawaii. It was a special trip, I proposed to my wife for our 25th Wedding Anniversary coming up in 2023, however as much as I wanted to do it in such a beautiful place, I ended up having to make Reservations for dinner somewhere else. I definitely think more restaurants or places that are open 24 hours for dinner would be a great idea to add to the Resort. As well as having Room Service 24/7. The location is excellent. The best beach access and the views are terrific. I stayed in the Moana building, which is really quiet (a bit far from main area by pools etc). Views over ocean are spectacular. We watched whales and dolphins from our balcony

The beds and bed linens weren't so good--sheets were really rough and the bed was too soft.

Everything was clean and there were lots of places to eat close by. We didn't need to wander far to enjoy Maui.

As a couple traveling without our children we didn't need to take advantage of the free activities offered. For the price of the room we should have had breakfast included. To be charged for parking, lawn chairs and snorkeling equipment, in addition to $600 per night for a small double room turned out to not be a good bargain for us. It could be great for families with small children.

They charge for everything in the pool and in the beach area.. a bit annoying
