Very comfortable with a lot of space, a full kitchen, a garden view balcony where the birds sang from sunrise to sunset. The ‘one bedroom’ actually has a ‘den’ with a bed so it was like a 2-bedroom. And there was a pullout couch. So each kid got a bed and parents got the big bed!

One of the foot washes was broken and we didn’t know there was a second until the last day so we tracked a lot of sand into our room. The toilet paper was buried in a strange drawer so I had to buy my own. It would have been nice if there were some basic cooking ingredients like olive oil and more spices beyond salt and pepper. All of these are super minor and not deal breakers.

We stayed at Kaanapali Alii 10 years ago and we loved it. We have a big group and loved the large room accommodations. It fit perfectly. It was a beautiful room. The bed was very comfortable. I normally do not sleep well while I am on vacation. But I slept so soundly on this bed. The location is perfect. It's right on the beach with a short walk to shopping and restaurants.

The only few things I can say is the pool is nice,, but could be improved. Other hotels have larger pools with slides. There isn't a lobby; An area to sit or meet. It could also use a place for a quick bite to eat or small shop area. At the Hyatt, they have a small shop with some essential items, swim toys, and food options such as smoothies and simple sandwiches. Or even a cute food truck out by the pool. But overall, the room definitely made up for it. That is most important when I am booking accommodations.

Beautiful location. Landscaping was gorgeous. Beach access excellent.

Was there a restaurant there? Had no idea about the surfing or paddleboarding rentals. Had NO idea about the beach umbrella rentals, that would have saved me a HUGE hassle. Really, I had VERY little idea about the amenities. I booked through Booking.com, so that could have been the issue, but we could have used some massages, I would have liked to know about the tennis or pickleball.

Well designed room. Very nicely furnished. The view was perfect! The room was spacious and great for the 4 persons we had to spread out and relax. The fitness facility was top notch - one of the best I have used. Loved the washer/dryer in the unit. We used for a few hours every day!!! Loved our stay and will return!

Minor wear and tear in the unit, particularly the white floor base which was dirty and splitting in areas. The television control was awful and for the most part did not work at all in the bedroom. The good new lies in the fact I don't go to Maui to watch television. The dishwasher operated poorly at times.

Nice landscaping, convenient location. Very short walk to Whalers shops and several restaurants, like the Hula Grill.

Very strange that they haven’t rebuilt beach walk on the beach side of the Kaanapali Alii. The walk goes along all of the hotels below and above the Kaanapali Alii. Awkward. It would be nice if they had a bar will a bit of snack options on premises.

334 has nice view of beach and mountains. Right on the beach! Recommend 808 boards for the week! Umbrellas in the room were nice to save money, hotel beach towels and beach chairs were perfect. Coffee available in cabana each morning at 5:30. The beach walk is closed off from the property which gives this specific property additional privacy!

It is so nice and convenient to be walking distance to Whaler's Village and right along the walking path of Kaanapali Beach. The room was HUGE. We had a 2 bedroom ocean view room, but there was also a "den" with a desk and a queen size bed.

I would have liked to be higher up (I did request a higher floor. We were on the 2nd floor).

Location was great, our room had an amazing ocean view and lovely lanai that we spent a lot of time on. The kitchen was very well stocked. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

Only negative would be having items like aluminum foil in the kitchen. There was plastic wrap but it would have been helpful to not have to buy that item for a 4 night stay.

Our unit the window made a howling sound with wind. They fixed it some but not completely. The bathtub topper was very difficult to turn if you wanted to take a bath. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Our bed was the comfiest bed of my entire trip. So happy how much space this property had as we were in town for a lot of rainy days! It literally had everyone we needed.

The parking was tough with an big long ford expedition because the clearance is only 6’3 and 6’5 in some ramps.
