Everything was excellent, especially considering the recent disasters in the area. All staff from the reception to housekeeping to bartenders and waiters were extremely welcoming and great at their jobs. The gym was fantastic. Access to the beach and surrounding area was great. We booked before the fires and were worried about intruding on the locals, but decided to move forward to support the local businesses. Hopefully we were able to enjoy the area respectfully while doing so...I highly recommend to other travels to get out of the resort a bit and support the many locally owned restaurants, food trucks, tour companies, markets, etc. Lots to see and do outside of the hotel, too!

There wasn't anything we necessarily didn't like, but considering the high cost of the hotel and food/drinks in general, one or two days of free breakfast or a reasonable "breakfast package" could go a long way toward boosting the value. Also keep in mind everything pretty much shuts down after 8 or 9pm here - not a party resort. Could use a few vending machines or small 24 hour amenities booth at reception since finding a store open after 6 can be tough. During the week, couldn't even find a drink past 8pm. Not an issue, just something to keep in mind if you're a night owl.

They helped us a lot, the stuff was very kind, The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is wow! And The view from the room is unbelievable

For every facility that you want to use from the hotel you need to pay. Even on the sofa near the pool they want $200 for few hours.

Greater choice in places to eat/types of food would be great COST is very high and very hard to understand, leaving me unsure of what I was going to pay other than "a lot", which is pretty stressful The breakfast was concerning: FAR TOO MANY PEOPLE for the arrangement you have, queueing up the stairs even at 6;30am - and then queuing for ages to get into the food room! I had a short time available due to work commitments so this was a problem for me and it just seemed ridiculous. Choice of food was okay but nowhere near as good as other buffet breakfasts at many resorts I've stayed at.

Pools are great and not too crowded. Restaurants on property are very good. Penguin show and the wildlife were an added surprise bonus. Towel and return is super easy. No lines.

Everything was perfect. Beyond expectation. Was worried about construction, but it was almost done and not a distraction at all. No machine noise. The resort is beautiful with the landscape and different animals (many parrots) on display, penguin feeding, swans. Pool for adults, kids, and pool slide was great Breakfast at hotel was delicious with many options. The restaurant was located near a waterfall. Highly recommend.

The open air lobby was beautiful. Hotel restaurants were very good. They did a wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch on the Japengo sun deck. Best thing was the option to use the pools at their next door at the Hyatt Residence for time share holders. We spent a lot of time there, esp. enjoyed watching the Warriors games on the bar TVs! Also enjoyed the art gallery,shops and coffeeshop in the hotel.

Great hotel structure, with large swimming pools for adults and kids, and with easy access to a great beach. The room was large enough to accomodate 4 people, and confortable.

The room cleaning was done only very late in the day, and the shampoo / conditioner was not refilled on time. Also, on the very busy days (new years eve week) all the restaurants were fully booked, leaving us with no options for dinning.

The check in and valet were the friendliest hotel experiences we have ever had. The grounds here are amazing. Birds, an incredible pool, excellent restaurants, and a wonderful space to just walk around in. We had a pool and ocean view room that was amazing to just view from our room. The wrist bands and towel lockers were genius.

The breakfast was incredibly backed up and crowded. This hotel is 45 minutes from the airport. There was not an offer to upgrade our room to club level.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Hyatt Hotel. We had a room with an ocean and mountain view and enjoyed the tranquility and sounds of the ocean tides. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, with many vegetarian options. The swimming pool is big enough, and despite reconstruction, my daughter preferred swimming in the pool, but I swam in the ocean and met a lot of turtles who like to swim in the shallow water.

A lot of things to do, very helpful staff, very clean, comfortable, nice room and view. A very nice welcoming, very good restaurants inside the hotel. A mall walkable distance.

A part of the pool is under construction and the noise was extremely annoying, very loud noise during the day, so if you are in the pool or even in the beach, you hear the construction noise. Also restaurants even though are very good, they could be a little expensive, especially the buffet breakfast.
