Friendly staff, clean, good location

Dining was reservation only so no unplanned dinners. Power outage which is no big deal but the previous time also had an alarm issue. This seems to be common here. We missed our first night and were charged full price for it. That’s fine, this is a business but as this was a honeymoon and the delay was unavoidable and communicated in advance it would have been nice to have a little leeway for compassionate charging but ultimately not in their best interest as a business so we understand. This means profits come before customer care so deal with them accordingly is all

The pool, hot tub and amenities, as well as the food ordered by the pool. Loved the view from the room and the cornhole. The hot tub was a nice size and very enjoyable.

The fact that we arrived at 4pm and our room was still not ready. We waited an additional 45 minutes before the room was ready. We were also supposed to have a King bed but were assigned to a room with 2 queen beds instead. Also, the fact that we requested an upper level room months in advance and again 2 weeks prior only to be assigned a ground level room, and was told no rooms were available on an upper floor. The shower stall didn't look very clean and there was a brown mark on the front of the toilet seat (poop maybe?). I cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol.

good parking, central location if you are doing both north and south of the island, nice pool areas/ direct view on ocean with comfy chairs and umbrellas

First room was groundfloor (directly on public walkway) (they changed it based on my complaint) but am wondering why this room was given to a single traveler.

We enjoyed the view of pool, courtyard gardens & ocean. The Tiki torches and firepit areas were delightful along with the live music every evening. There was plenty of seating around the pool and access to activities & a nice sidewalk along the beach. Overall very comfortable, clean, with good service and food.

The balcony was a bit small, but nice view. The pool was a bit cool, probably because the weather was a little on the cool side but the hot tub was a nice temperature. The rain made walking around a bit slippery, but the sunshine warmed us up eventually.

The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The room was nice. The fish tacos were amazing at the beach bar restaurant. The room was nice and was cleaned daily.

As a guy sitting on the toilet was undesirable as my "stuff" touched the water. The beach view was at an angle and barely enough room for 2 people on the deck. I wouldn't waste the extra money. I felt like the cocktail drinks were made weak. The beach is not what I was expecting for a Beach hotel. Not really setup for beach swimming.

Everything was great.

The Concierge was not into her job at all, she said she really worked with the blue helicopter company and said to go online with my questions about activities. I used the computer in the lobby and saw her telling other guests to use the internet and turned them all away. Not only is she unprofessional but she isn’t afraid to give her bad vibes to others when the approach her. It was sad, I would’ve done more activities but she was too much of a downer.

We had an ocean front room and absolutely loved mornings and evenings there. All the staff was so friendly. Nikki, our concierge, was incredibly helpful and delightful! I thought it was a once in a lifetime trip, but now must plan a return!

I liked the options for rentals such as bikes and beach chairs, the location was great, staff was so friendly and incredibly helpful. Kyle gave us great recommendations for places to see!

The air conditioner was extremely loud making it difficult to sleep at times. The bathroom floor was peeling and parts of the bathroom appeared dirty.

I liked the large room with high ceilings, the king bed, the little lanai and the ocean view. The service was very friendly with lots of Aloha. I loved the great price we got booking on Priceline. I also loved the convenience of the open parking lot, with parking included with our stay, along with the Longs Drugs right next door and the convenience of the location in Kapaa.

Coffee at breakfast in the hotel and in the room wasn’t that great, however there are a lot of other coffee shops on island (including Starbucks and local coffee shops nearby) that we visited.

The room was nice. The staff was friendly, especially the coffee shop ladies. I appreciated the cleanliness of the property.

The pillows were awful. No support at all in the pillows. I was told I had a garden view and it turned out that garden view means some plants right next to the parking lot which was my main view. I did not like that the front desk staff often seemed distracted if another staff member was helping someone else. That was not worth the price of the room. Checking in and out the front desk clerks seemed distracted and had to ask more than once what they could help me with. Having worked in customer service, I have high expectations of the level of service, including having staff that is present in the moment.
