This was a lovely stay. "Garden" room had great view over the mountains. Room was huge, bed was very comfy. Not a lot going on in the immediate area though. Very limited food options on site. Need to drive into 'town' for most things, only 10mins away. It's next door to Hotel1 with a great bar, can walk there.

This is a really nice property in a great location - if you like peace and quiet. They have nice facilities, from the pools to the tennis courts to the restaurants. The staff was all very pleasant and helpful. The rooms (1 bedroom) were spacious, comfortable and well enough appointed. They will even provide a cart ride down to the beach, if you want. The beach is small, but nice.

Most of the units don't have ocean views, and those that do, I was told, are generally reserved for the timeshare owners. Well, we enjoyed our jungle and mountain view just fine. The charges for parking, resort fee and checking-in (really?) are simply irritating. Their hand was in our pocket enough as it was...

A timeshare that doesn’t feel too much like one (a good thing), but has hefty and inexplicable “resort and check-in” fees, and will charge you 20 USD + taxes per day for your car. Nice grounds and gardens, a beautiful view onto the Bay, and spacious rooms, although they could benefit from an upgrade out of their Reagan style (and age). Very comfortable bedding. It shares a private beach with the 5-star Hotel "1 Hanalei", where we recommend you go and have a nice sunset cocktail!

No proper restaurant or real food options on the property: you need to drive to Hanalei.

It was a very nice experience all around, the staff, the views, the cleanliness etc. it ended up being a trip for just my daughter and I, as my wife had a last min need to cancel to stay back and take care of her parents back home. Your staff recognized quickly that my daughter was on a knee scooter with a bad foot and one of your staff members personally came to our room to let us know about the services to get her around on a golf cart with just a phone call ( unfortunately we did not get his name but out of all honesty they were all very kind and friendly. Our family are frequent flyers to Hawaii (2-3 times a year) with Kauai by far being our favorite island. We will for sure stay at your resort again & we'll highly recommend your resort to our friends.

We really enjoyed staying here! The location is great. Beautiful views of the mountains. Quiet and spacious grounds and a short walk to the beautiful bay you can swim in (yes the path is steep, but it's paved and not hard if in decent shape - there are golf carts to take guests too). Our room was very clean and very large. In fact, it's really two rooms made into one, so we had two bathrooms/ showers. As well as outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the fresh air and views. Kitchen is well stocked too. Being located right next to 1 Hotel Hanalei, you can have a fancy dinner and explore there too. We thought it was great value for such a nice stay and great location!

At the resort restaurant our party of 11 was denied because the host was holding space for a group of 10 who had called in earlier. Our party was all there waiting long before the the other group arrived. We were told no reservations could be made ahead, but it certainly looked like we were denied seating when another group had made a reservation. That was unfortunate.

We loved that we were able to use the hospitality suite at a reasonable price while we checked out and waited for our flight. This allowed us to snorkel and enjoy ourselves. Wonderful! We also love a good koi pond--lots of big, happy koi! Your staff was very helpful and friendly. The Bramford Spa at One Hotel in Hanalei is the best spa we've ever been to--better than many top 5-star places in NYC, Paris, LA, Las Vegas, D.C., and Hawaii. It was great that we just a short walk to it. We also appreciated that you had laundry facilities and recycle bins. We will definitely stay there again. Your cleaning staff was also exceptionally nice and accommodating.

Wish there were more pillows on the bed. The lighting in the hospitality suite and in the bathrooms is extremely unflattering and too much--gave me a headache, sorry to say. It wasn't very crowded, which was nice, but one couldn't help but wonder if we could've had an upgrade? Just curious. Other than that, we can only think of good things to say.

The facilities are great. pool is amazing, loved the staff. Rates were decent. The public BBQs are amazing. The plastic utensils and kitchen tools were pretty good. Except for the knives, they are cheap and cruddy.

No pool bar! That is crazy! The restaurant opens late and closes early, the restaurants seem understaffed and are extremely expensive. The gym is nice but has no water. Never been to a gym without water. The jacuzzi is luke warm at best. And it sounds like they have had this problem with the jacuzzi for years. And why all the unused tennis courts and no pickle ball? Convert all to pickle ball.

The grounds of this resort are stunning and well maintained. The location was ideal. The resort is very quiet. Short walk to a nice beach. The coffee shop serves up THE BEST coffee on the island! We were so impressed overall.

Our suite was not cleaned properly which was frustrating after such long flights. We cleaned it and then got on with our awesome vacation. I don’t believe this is the resort’s standard as everything else was such perfection.
