Location is close to Volcanoes National Park & easy to find. Lots of parking. Beautiful grounds. The room was well equipped, functional, and clean. There are extra guest supplies like soap and toilet paper in the lobby.

The walls are thin, so we could hear other guests talking, stomping their feet, and bonking into things. This is not entirely within the property’s control, but it was a little frustrating that they put guests in rooms right next to each other because the lodge was only half full at the time of our stay. They could have assigned guests to rooms at least one room apart and this would have mitigated the noise issue.

We are from Hawaii Island and understand the culture and accommodations in Volcano. The check-in was a breeze. I received several communications from the property telling me exactly what to do for check-in and check-out. They are clear about having you contact them with any questions or concerns! I appreciated their efforts to make everything seamless. We never turned on the TV as Madame Pele in the park had a "show" going on that was much more appealing. We had all the amenities we needed and the minibar fridge was perfect for our cooler items and restaurant leftovers. We found the bed comfortable. We turned off the humidifier as it warmed the room more than we desired. It was the perfect stay for us. Guests are considerate as the walls seem thin, but most people have short stays and are quiet at night when arriving and leaving. Some of the flowering bushes on the property were gorgeous!!! The shower was hot, but remember to conserve water. We will book again! If you like Thai food, eat at THAI THAI restaurant! If you need cash, TRUE Value has the only ATM in town. It is close to Volcanoes National Park, restaurants, arts and crafts co-ops.

Perfect location for visiting Volcano National Park. You are literally minutes away from the park entrance so getting there early before the rush is easy. The wraparound porch was very tranquil and we thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. Also, if you're looking for a quick but tasty meal, the 10 Pin inside the park was excellent and their staff is great. If we came to this area again, we would definitely book at Lokahi Lodge.

Absolutely loved it here! Great location for visiting the national park and it was super cool to listen to the rainforest sounds at night outside the property. Very clean, great shower and useful to have the mini kitchen with fridge and microwave. Staff were very responsive and helpful regards check in as we were a last minute booking. Highly recommend! Great value as well.

Very convenient to Volcanoes National Park. Good correspondence for self check in. Nice to have small table, chairs, microwave and mini fridge for our late night snacking. Appreciated the dehumidifier!

There was mold in the bathroom. Thick dust behind the bed, bedside tables and lamps. Time for a deep clean.

It was hidden away in a quiet location but close to cafes where had a pleasant meal. It was well located after spending the day in the National park

Great location, very nice room. Nice shower, comfortable bed, room larger than expected. Fanastic location to Volcano National Park & Volcano Village too. The price was very reasonable & I would definately stay here again.

It is a beautiful setting making it very relaxing. Loved listening to the rain and frogs during the night. The room had everything we needed and more. Will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone traveling to the volcano.

Comfortable, very clean, an off-the-beaten-path experience that turned out to be fun. Cool little place.

No complaints. Maybe a little more channel accessibility on the TV, but we got there too tired for TV anyway.
