Located 2 mins to the highway, the location of the hotel is very quiet. You can open your room window slightly which was great; you'll hear a very small amount of street noise if you're on the front side. The hotel was clean, had a standard breakfast, muffins and coffee were good. Nice experience, would stay again. Nice shopping located nearby. Gurnee Mall is 18 mins away, nice area to hang out, has restaurants all around it. Eat at a restaurant called the Brunch Spot/Cafe, it's about 12 mins away from the hotel, excellent food. Hotel is about 18 mins away from the Navy graduation location. And if you rent a car, get the Toll package because most of the highway exits have tolls. ENJOY! Also, due to traffic, leave 1-1/2 hr before the graduation time. Wear comfortable shoes, it's a lot of walking to the graduation area.

Wish the room Fridge got colder otherwise no complaints.

The breakfast was overall great with different choices each day. The size of my room was much larger than other hotels and has a closet to hang clothes in. The staff was very friendly and the pool was refreshing.

My bathtub in room 304 has a large low spot in the middle which was lower than the bathtub drain and could never completely.drain out leaving 3/4 inch of standing water. The southern style breakfast with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy without any bacon or sausage was not a favorite. The lack of restaurants nearby required a 3 to 6 mile drive in any direction to find decent food for lunch and dinner.

The room size was large, has a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast each day was excellent with many choices including hot scrambled eggs. The staff is super friendly and offered their kitchen refrigerator to chill many drinks for me overnight that would not fit in my room refrigerator. The outside property is well maintained, has plenty of parking around the building, and it is patrolled frequently by the local police. ALL of the photos shown of the property I can confirm are accurate and represent what the property is like. The pool was very clean and enjoyable. Very convenient to the I-94 Interstate highway.

The refrigerator in the room was frosted up and did not work well.

We were surprised to find a decent-priced hotel near Chicago just before the start of the Democratic Convention. The location was perfect since we needed to be closer to relatives to the north and east of us. We were greeted warmly at 11pm when we arrived. The rooms were spotless and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Even though our room was on the end closer to the freeway, there was not a lot of noise. We slept soundly. The breakfast was very good with both hot and cold items. Some of the hot items changed every day so there was variety from one day to the next. The waffle iron was a big hit with the younger folks!

On our 2nd night something with the toilet water was dripping. We told management about it when we checked out.

I chose this hotel for the onsite parking. The Wi-Fi and continental breakfast were bonuses. I had a snafu at check in, but loved how quickly the woman at reception resolved my issue. Also, the obline check in and out made arrival and departure go smoothly.

I was initially checked into a room that hadn't been cleaned. The bed was completely messed. In the room I was able to stay in, two of the lampshades were broken or cracked and placed back on the lamps. It left the feeling of potentially being charged for those damages.

They just recently renovated and it looks very nice and modern. Everything was very clean, from the lobby to the breakfast area to my room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a very quick check-in. Variety of breakfast options. The AC in the room was very nice, glad it worked well since it was over 90 degrees outside. Overall, wonderful stay.

One morning we went down for breakfast and it was overcrowded since there was a group of students staying at the hotel. There was no place to sit so we ended up taking our breakfast to our room. Weren’t sure if they would be there the following day so we skipped breakfast.

We stayed here to be close to the Navy base for graduation and it was perfect for that! It was in a quiet part of town, right off the highway and easy to find. There were many charming towns to explore around it. Great value; I'd stay here again if I need to be by the navy base in the future.

The first room we were put in had a bad smell of smoke (they kindly changed us to a better room.) The pull out couch was very rough. I don't expect much from those in general but it was the worst one I have slept on.

The location and facilities are awesome! One of the nicest LaQuintas we have ever stayed in! Very nice, good sized queen suite, nice dining area, nice pool area, and all nicely maintained! We had reserved a party room for one night for a family reunion, and it was very nice, and the setup was very well done!

The breakfasts were pretty mediocre and lacked fruit.

The staff was absolutely amazing from the front desk clerks to the housekeepers, even the manager on duty anything we asked for they made it happen, we needed more towels we got them with no hesitation, an extra blanket they gave it with no questions!

The only issue we had was our neighbors, they were absolutely trashy people and kept the hall way nasty but the front desk staff handled it well for us!!

The location of the hotel is right off I-94. So it was super easy to get to. There wasn't much around that was within walking distance of the hotel, but in turn the street that the hotel is located on was not heavily traveled. You could hear the noise from the highway in our room but our room also faced the highway, otherwise we never heard any of our neighbors or anything. There is a security cop that drives around the area at night. They provide a standard Continental breakfast (waffles, eggs and a meat or biscuits and gravy, muffins, juice, bagels, coffee, yogurt, cereal, and fruit). The staff was very friendly and happy. The atmosphere in the lobby area is professional but very cozy and relaxing. They have a seating area in front of a fireplace when you walk in the front door. The also have a library and several table and chairs to sit at anytime of the day. They have an indoor pool with lots of seating options. Unfortunately they do not have a hot tub in the pool area. They have a fitness room and they also have 2 washers and dryers for guest to use to wash their clothes. The parking lot is very well lit up all the way around the building. I felt safe there no matter if it was day or night. Our room was beyond what I was expecting compared to their pictures. I had an executive King Suite and there was more than enough room that 4-5 adults could move around the room without tripping over each other. The bed was extremely comfortable; along with the sofa, arm chair, and office chair. The atmosphere in the room was very warm and inviting and I felt like I was going home.

That there was no hot tub.
