My short stay to be with friends in and around this Vernon Hills Hotel Indigo was superb! What an awesome hotel with luxury and everyday practical accommodations. I had the best sleep of my life in that luxurious kind size bed and running the nicely fresh air conditioning was super comfortable. I utilized the ironing board and brought items to refrigerate and even went to the lobby to use the microwave to warm up oatmeal for breakfast. I used the pool to move my limbs. I didn't have time to use the fitness equipment, but perhaps on a future return trip!! I was very thankful to enjoy the beautiful peaceful surroundings all about the hotel, and all the convenient nearby shopping and restaurants that seem to go on for miles!!!

I only would have liked to see a Christian ministry on the Direct TV provided for uplifting and inspirational viewing, but there was a clock alarm radio that I was able to use, which was a very nice design!

The rooms were good size and looked clean. The staff were friendly and the price was great for what you get. The pool looked nice but it was too crowded for us to use it.

There was mac and cheese under the pull out couch. The "free breakfast" was a $20 voucher for the 4 of us and it didn't cover 2 breakfast sandwiches, 2 coffees and a small cup of fruit which had mushy grapes in it. Most hotels have free coffee in the lobby, but you had to pay per cup at breakfast. (There is a coffee pot and coffee in the room which we could have used had we known)

The Reception and dining area were uncomfortably cold. Heating did not keep up with the frigid temps outside. Your staff was complaining and so was i. Finally, there was no bathtub. It was a Valentine's weekend getaway for me and i was hoping to take a candlelit bubble bath, but that luxury wasn't met. My spirit was deflated and a bit disappointing i must add.

The staff was really friendly. The room was beautiful and spacious. Location was perfect for where we were going to be spending the most time.

They should have a breakfast buffet instead of a cafe with minimal options that kept running out. They should also be more transparent about what is involved for breakfast instead of only giving a few vouchers for one family that is staying 3 nights. The workout room had only one machine that actually was working.

1st day of stay, I went to the lobby asking for a cup of hot water, so I could make some tea. Patti at the front desk gave me 2 cups and let me choose some tea bags to try. On the second day of stay, housekeeper realized that a woman was staying in the room and brought in several make-up removers. This was very observant, and I appreciated that.

The only thing to note is that the turned upside down black coffee cup by the coffee maker had mold. I would make sure that the cup is washed well and fully dry before flipping upside down, as any moisture would lead to mold. I used the second up and it was clean.

The staff members were extremely polite and helpful. The rooms were decent in size and we loved the lay out of each one and the cleanliness was great! The hotel is definitely in a great location with lots of restaurant and entertainment choices.

The only down fall for us was the pool area was closed down and not accessible.

I didn’t like the breakfast it’s for the rich kinda high end quiche and stuff kids don’t like it!! No cereal for them we had to pay for our coffee and it’s not continental so that sucked the pool was great the gym was a bummer laundry service was not free nor coin operated so yeah the room was great thee best just wish I had a tub

Staff was super nice during my stay. The breakfast voucher was definitely worth it! It’s not your typical breakfast you’d get at other hotels, it’s more sit down and personable! I definitely recommend this hotel.

There wasn’t much I didn’t like. The staff was super accommodating and efficient. There were no towels in the room on arrival, but we got some when we went to the desk and asked with no problems! No real concerning issues.

Did not have breakfast there. Hotel was good for our stay.

Parking lot is in need of major repairs...potholes, broken asphalt, drainage issues, etc. Should reqire Adults to supervise children in the pool...scooters in pool, small children with no swimming support, teenagers jumping on other people in pool. Did not realize houskeeping started so early in the morning...was awakened by a knock on the door at 8 am...still sleeping!

The staff was very attentive and helpful. I also liked the comfort & space of the room. Along with the toiletries the lotion smelled really good.

I didnt like that there was no coffee in the lobby however, I appreciated the flavored water. And when I missed breakfast time, one of the staff members got me a hot cup of coffee, which was nice.
