Location, location, location! It's right on Michigan Avenue, across the street from Grant Park, and a ten minute walk to museum alley and the lakefront. You've got a nice baguette shop right in the hotel, a great asian restaurant next, a fantastic Yolk breakfast place next to that, and the L, a Subway, a Walgreens, and two grocery stores within a five minute walk. So, lot's close by and easy access to the rest of the city activities. It's well kept, has good daily housekeeping service, desk staff, and facilities, so this place is a winner, in our book!

OK, in a perfect world it would be 6-8 blocks further north and closer to the Bean.

Location! Meet our needs and what we are looking for. Easy access to public transportation. Walkable to museums campus. Walkable to a few restaurants and grocery stores. The staff is nice and friendly. There is a microwave at the lobby to use, a coffee station, free water and sometimes they put out fruits.

Unfortunately for me the bed and pillow were not comfortable, but it was just me. Family is fine with it. There were only 3 sets of towels (bath, face and hand towels) but we booked for 4 pax. Also, only 3 pillows on each bed 🤔 but staff are good at providing once you requested for extra. A/C position to close to bed, right at your head area but that might be just in our room.

Room was clean, beds comfortable, location was great for walking to museums and restaurants. A subway station is nearby (about 2 blocks away). Having a pastry shop downstairs was handy.

Air conditioner was noisy, but we managed to sleep with it. Very loud street noises at night sometimes from dozens of motorcycle groups. And we were on the 8th floor. This is a factor of the location and there was little that the hotel could do about it. Maybe more police in the area could cut down on disruption of the peace. Also the fitness center door was propped open and there was no security on the elevator. Anyone could walk in, take the elevator and hide in the fitness center. The security of this needs attention. Managed with double beds but would have preferred queen beds. But rooms are small and they probably wouldn't fit.

Well, the Location is spectacular, that Lakefront/Grant Park area of Downtown Chicago offers a unique visiting experience, that contrasts the very busy North Loop/Miracle Mile local of Downtown Chicago. Our 2 rooms had adequate amenities/service .All the Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. It was very cool that many of the Staff spoke Spanish. No complaints or issues with our Beds or bedding, everything was comforting. Also, the Front Desk staff had excellent follow through with questions, requests and concerns.

The location was excellent. Close enough walk to soldier field for a concert. Plenty of food options and transportation options in walking distance too. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and updated nicely. Great air conditioner that was almost too cold.

The amenities list valet parking, but this is limited. We had to park a few blocks away. It would be nice to know ahead of time. Unloading area by hotel on the street is also limited. There were some places where the carpet was tattered in the hallway and the towel rack in our room was taped together. Walls are also thin so every door slam is easily heard and anyone talking in the room next door will be noticeable.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a fantastic experience! The location was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. One of the highlights was the bakery and restaurant on the first floor—absolutely delicious! We ended up visiting multiple times because we couldn’t get enough of the fresh pastries and great food. The overall atmosphere was warm and inviting, adding to the positive experience. Highly recommend this place for its prime location and delightful dining options!

While everything about the property was nearly perfect, the one downside was the air conditioning unit. It was a bit buggy—if we set it too low, it would shut off completely, which meant we had to keep the room a little warmer than we preferred. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it did affect the comfort level slightly. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

The bed and pillow were very comfy. The view was nice, we could see Field Museum and Grant Park. The room was spacious. The location was great, super easy to get to and from the SouthShore line. Breakfast is not offered but they give you $10 credit per day you stay to go next door at Mei-Mei's for breakfast. We chose to go to Yolk (very good) and Paris Baguette next door (you get 10% off if you show your hotel card).

The tub filled with water during the shower...very slooow drain. There were a few pills and a hairclip on the floor when we came in. The channel offering on the TV was really not much. The office chair webbing was held on with staples. The furniture was very weathered. Lastly, not enough outlets near the bed.

They distributed breakfast discount vouchers for the two establishments located in the same building. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Paris Baguette is one of them–I love their pastries! The staff was kind to receive some of my parcels and store my luggage both on check-in and check-out days. I got a corner room, which felt really spacious. Although my windows did not face the lake, I got a classic Chicago view of the street art and buildings.

The only thing I didn't like were the amenities: the shampoo made my hair oily, and I don't think it cleaned well.

The location is great, the hotel was clean, and we even got a continental breakfast we weren't expecting.

Only hotel parking is Valet at $52, but there was an indoor lot on Wabash less than a block away that was $32 for 24 hours.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was centrally located, so we were able to easily go back and forth between the hotel and the destinations. I also liked the discount at the bakery next door.

The shower faucet dripped and there was hair on the bathroom wall (just a few, but it was gross). Also, $58/day for parking was a lot of money. It would be nice to have that cost less.
