everything Good
Terrible location, there is no parking at the hotel, they open a public garage for you, you have to go out and look for the hotel, there is no indication that there is a hotel, the hotel is located on the 39th floor, it took more than 30 minutes to get there. being able to access the hotel, booking does not notify you that you have to pay $30.00 for parking, I had a trailer and in the morning I found a ticket, saying that trailers are not accepted, I would return to this hotel only if I don't have a car

Amazing view of Lake Michigan from the 40th floor of the stock exchange building. Pay extra for a lake view. The hotel is nice enough, but it's all about that view. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky, you have to go into the commercial building, they will give you access to the 39th floor where you will transfer to another lift which takes you to the hotel which is only on the 40th floor. The Blue Line train goes from O'Hare airport to La Salle right near the hotel, but be aware there are about 23 steps up to the street and no escalator or lift. If you have bags you may be better to get off at Jackson to use the lift and walk the extra blocks. The area is very commerical so there's not much open at night but there is a great bar/ restaurant just next to the building.
Because the area is quiet at night and I generally walk everywhere I didn't always feel entirely safe walking around on my own at nigh but i's just a quick cab ride if that's an issue for you.

The View is worth it... anything that is wrong with the place doesn't matter when you look out of the window. That view is incomparable.
I was disappointed by: 1) athetlics club not being open all the time (don't sell it if you can't offer it) 2) the lady at the reception was pretty abrupt - seemed upset I interupted her TV watching! 3) room wasn't cleaned on the first day... when I asked, they told me I had to request it. So the following day I requested it and they came to change the towels... The beds were not made. I found a message on the bed that said if there is something on the bed, they leave it! I had folded up my pajamas and put it on the pillow!!! for this, they didn't make the beds??? 4) asking for an extended check-out... they have a policy about charging for an extra hour... So silly. if the room isn't available, then fine, but if it is available... no reason to not give an extra hour or two even!

The view and the room were great. I got engaged here :) Very helpful crew. They always were ready to help. Got all the additional essentials that I needed. They were very friendly!
It wasn't easy to get to the hotel from parking lot. Needed assistance there as it involved changing 3 elevators. The hotel management did mention that the building l wasn't intended on being a hotel. Could have appreciated better breakfast options. As I am not used to the cold, I heavily relied on breakfast and there weren't any eggs. Felt a little disappointed there but the pluses of the hotel outweigh this.:)

The hotel is on the 40th floor of this huge building. The view was amazing! The room was huge for what it was - one large king-size bed. You have to use two elevators to get up to the hotel. The first elevator goes up to 39 and then you use the elevator next to it to go from 39 to the 40th. It's not too bad. I did a walk around the neighborhood and found some great food options. They are maybe 4-5 blocks away. Not a bad walk. One of the best perks was the very secure and private parking underneath the hotel. An attendant is there 24/7 and it's easy to get in and out of.
The building is huge! It takes awhile to really find your way around the neighborhood. Venture out about 4-5 blocks and you are good. Lots of things around. You'll find that there isn't much on the same block as the hotel.

You really can’t beat the view! The room was huge and had the toilet in a separate room from the bathtub and bathroom sink, which is a nice hygienic touch. Though I could hear some street noise even so high up, I couldn’t hear a peep from the other guests, which was awesome. The continental breakfast was nice. It’s a weird hotel, occupying the 40th floor of an office building. They give you a fob key for the elevator lol. But I like weird and it was small, quiet and private with epic views. Great value for the money.
The room could use a new coat of paint. You get the feeling there haven’t been updates for a long time. Also, even though I knew going in it was kind of hard to find, it really was a bit confusing, especially at night. I wish I had clear directions of how to get there from the El train from ORD in advance.

Beautiful views,!!! very clean hotel, comfortable beds, very spacious room. We had double beds, chairs, a desk, tv, closet, mini fridge, coffee, etc. Location: close to everything in Chicago downtown. Entrance to the parking is next to the building. The hotel is on the 40th floor of the building.- views are Amazing !!! My room had big windows-top to floor- sit down on the chair and you can see Chicago downtown. At night the views are very beautiful! Their Lounge has amazing views as well. They offer coffee, water, fruits, snacks, etc. There is a lot security in the building and security guard at all times at the desk on the first floor. I highly recommend this hotel.
At the beginning A little confusión to get in and out of the hotel since the hotel is in the 40th floor of the building where are other offices which we got used to later. It is like staying at nice beautiful condo building. It is very comfortable and very quiet.

The city facing room had an unobstructed view of the Willis (Sears) Tower.. AMAZING... I really liked the 'classic' look of the room.. really nicely upkept original HARD WOOD doors and frames. Classic marble in bathroom, etc. Reminded me of the upscale 'Conrad Hilton', but at a much affordable rate.
Better signage in the lobby of the building, as it's a office building, but with a 'counter' for the hotel, and then 2 sets of elevators to get to 'Reception' on the 40th floor.

Close walking distance to train station, public transport, close to passport agency, and walkable to restaurants, and river and other sites, room was large and comfortable, tub was nice! Quiet, nice city view
Im used to traveling and following directions so i found the property fine, but if you are a newby might be difficult to find the place…. Inside another larger building only a few floors of it and two elevators-to get there

Location and room was fabulous with amazing views, could walk to most places. All staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful at the hotel, gym and in the building (reception, and engineer). We especially appreciated Ron at hotel reception who helped us as much as possible when the hot water in our bathroom just wasn’t hot enough.
Not having hot shower or bath in room. Thankyou to management and staff for consideration of this and appropriate compensation.
