Room was nice. Doors slamming shut we're a bit loud but it's ok. Pool was fantastic other than how salty is was.

Paying so much for breakfast. Sorry but that was ridiculous and the food was ok. Paying that much for a room should at least have a small area for complimentary then if people want more options go to the restaurant. Eggs toast cereal bacon and whew other options. The granola for the yogurt was stale, the potatoes were over cooked, hubby said the oatmeal was overcooked and dry. Not worth 40 dang dollars. Especially for a buffet that has been sitting for hours. Sorry but that was probably the most aggravating esp considering there wasn't really anything else nearby since we weren't leaving to go far. Just walking to the civic center.

Beautiful property, great location. We had extreme heat outside and it seemed like our air conditioner couldn’t keep up. We were on the six floor.. we parked in the parking garage, but no one told us that we couldn’t pay at the kiosk and we had to back up the ramp and come back up to the second floor, walk across the sky walk, then back down two flights of stairs to the front desk, where he told me that all we had to do was hit the call button and they would let us through. I had to get out and assist the lady in front of me who did not realize that either.. It’s still a beautiful place and we’ll go back, A little bit more customer service at the desk would be a big help..

Location next to the Peoria Civic Center.

I booked a king room through your service, we got to the hotel and they put us in a room with 2 double beds, not queen and definitely not a king. The staff said their information from Booking.com was that we had booked the double room, which we did not. They were unable to make modifications because we booked through your "third party" service, even though we are Marriott Bonvoy gold members. We wont be using yous service again.

The staff Brandon, Jackie and Whitney were accommodating and willing to assist us.

The bed didn't have that fresh inviting look as if someone had sat on the bed. The refrigerator was on the floor and this was the table provided, the coffee pot was missing a part preventing the coffee from being brewed, the flat screen in the common area wouldn't allow streaming. For the price paid things should be ready and spot on.

The bar and location were good.

Prices for food and drink were a little high. The staffing was short for the volume of guests that wanted food and drink after the civic center event. They should have scheduled staff to cover the volume expected with a scheduled event. Wait times were far too long due to that staffing shortage. The bar also closed early for the volume of services wanted.

This was our second time staying here at the Pere Marquette and it was very comfortable and inviting. It’s always clean, of which is most important to me.

There is a very foul smell near the elevator and stairs that leads to the garage and by the pool area. I think that can be fixed. Perhaps changing the carpet or adding a ventilation system in that particular area.

Beautiful historic property.

I’m cheering on downtown Peoria although as of now, it’s still a bit blighted. For this reason, I expect the hotel doesn’t pull in the revenue for upkeep on par with similar historic hotels in bigger cities. Still the nicest hotel downtown.

Location was perfect for our needs. Had a skywalk to the Peoria civic center so we didn’t have to walk outside in the cold. The beds were very comfortable

The rooms are very small. The pool was hard to find due to no signs. The restaurant was way over priced and didn’t offer a kids option.

Lobby, desk gal had a room ready early which we really appreciated! Walked to Jim’s steakhouse- great place & civic center access.

You can’t help it but the empty spaces downtown across from your hotel. Sad. But a desk attendant recommended the excellent luncheon place at the other hotel a block away.

Location and front of house staff were extremely helpful.

I think the breakfast, the staff could be a little more professional, not major, but sometimes appearance and dealing with each other more than the customers, but in general they were always polite.
