Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Check in was fast and easy. There was plenty of parking right off the side of the building. (Metered parking is free from 5pm to 8am) The room was clean. Ideal room temp was easy to achieve. The hotel is a short 4 minute walk from the Civic Center. All around good experience. I usually stay at a property across the river but due to the ideal location in relation to the Civic Center this will likely be my go-to accommodation for concerts.

The hotel staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, good at problem solving. The building itself and the room I stayed in were quite good - from the elevators to the meeting rooms to the bed and the flatscreen in the room, they were all of a quality I associate with more expensive hotels.

The lack of food/drink related amenities (vending machines, working ice machines, a diverse and well-stocked lobby store) made the hotel less attractive for any future visit. The hotel restaurant had, to my mind, short hours, and was not open when I wanted it (early and late). And the relative barrenness of the neighborhood was also a negative - there are no convenience stores, markets, or restaurants nearby. Having a good guide to those things - a way to help me find the things I wanted - would have helped. Many hotels have a sort of neighborhood or city guide in the rooms. I would have liked something like that, rather than using my phone to find the Target on the other side of the river.

I read a lot of mixed reviews, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Parking, was extra but the hotel offered $10/night (reg $20) but could park on street for free until 8am. It was limited spots, but during the week I didn’t have any issues. My only complaint with bed, was it seems to slope down (as if older and worn from someone always laying on edge). Staff was EXCELLENT and always friendly!! Rooms were clean. Didn’t try restaurant because it was a very limited menu.

The temperature in the room fluctuates and the thermostat was not able to be changed to go lower than 67.

Nice, modern, quality linens, comfortable, good coffee. The restaurant and craft brew pub downstairs had a decent, yet simple menu and good beer selection. Friendly staff.

Run down in a few places. Elevator doors need refinishing, one was out of order. No microwaves in the rooms. No parking on site, and the garage across the street is sketchy and not cheap. If you never lived in a city, and have no street sense, the neighborhood is definitely sketchy at night. You don’t want to walk around.

The staff was the absolute best! Super attentive and helpful, super super friendly. The front desk lady, I wish I could remember her name made my absolute weekend she was so sweet

When I booked my reservation it was supposed to be for a kind bed with a sofa bed and a balcony. When we got to our room it was only a king bed but it worked. Definitely did not complain bc the sweet front desk lady let us check in so so early and was so sweet

The bartender was on Friday night was exceptional. She was nice, engaging, and quick to serve us all. The breakfast on Saturday morning was very good. I had the eggs benedict. Everything was fresh and the eggs were cooked to perfection.

The breakfast on Sunday morning was not very good. The coffee didn't taste good, the sausage patties tasted off, the waitress didn't bring any butter or jelly for the toast, and there was no bacon. To top it off we had to wait a long time to get the food. I had to use the bathroom while we were waiting and found that the guest bathroom next to the restraint wouldn't flush and it was full of pee and TP.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us when we unexpectedly had extra children staying in the room. We were staying to attend a memorial service and the staff even gave us a sympathy card and basket of treats for the children

We were disappointed the splash pad was not functioning. The pool water temperature was very cold for small children but they still enjoyed the play.

Absolutely gorgeous and clean beds and pillows were wonderful

Parking is horrendous we are 75 years old and had to walk a good 2 blocks from parking area my hubby has neuropathy and he fell and your gal that nite was phenominal in helping us get to the hotel ! I am positive you hear complaints about the parking constantly we heard many people talking about it and I also know there is nothing you can do to fix it . It will help us from staying again sadly

Everything was great. From the staff, the room, the pool and the location.

The only thing we didnt like was the parking situation because it was very cold and parking down the road wasn't really convenient. Other than that awesome experience.

Close to everything we needed while in Peoria.

The toilet was supposed to be an eco flush system with the two buttons on top, and the smaller button didn’t work at all, and the larger button barely worked. It seemed like there was zero water pressure in the toilet at all.
