The property was nice, decorated beautifully in the entrance for Christmas, but that is where the decoration ended.

Could use some updates.

The lodge is cozy, stuck with the theme of the town. The amenities were nice with an indoor pool. Breakfast was a hot meal which is often hard to find and provided with the room stay. The lodge was clean and the grounds well maintained.

The price was on the higher side. The mattresses were firm but the pillows were beyond soft and required folding to even get a little support. There was an event on the property and the loud, thumbing music went until 11p or so.

The location was wonderful, but it's definitely a small quaint town. My son forgot tennis shoes for our trip to Holiday World and we needed to stop at Walmart, the closest one was 30 minutes away. The breakfast was good. And we loved going to the pond to feed the fish from the dock after. We were able to have a conjoing room with our family that came along with us. We really liked that! The decorations were perfect! The only thing missing was a fireplace.

I think it would be really nice if the Christmas themes followed into the rooms! They're pretty bland compared to the rest of the lodge. The little fun center outside has been shut down and I didn't see that they had a pool when we booked, so my kids missed out on that while we were there, but I may have just overlooked it when booking.

We loved everything about this place, It was comfortable ever since we checked in, the staff was nice/friendly and helped us feel at ease for a place we had never visited before. It was in a good location close to everything in town/attractions and places we wanted to go. It was nice to walk around outside to get fresh air, it was a quiet location had a pond my kids loved watching the fish and turtles swimming around, they loved the playground and pools to play in & all the Christmas decor inside to look at and take pics with. There's a fun center just across the parking lot in walking distance so I didn't have to drive there. Thank you!!

Would of been nice to have a small fridge in the room for our drinks but not complaining not all places have them.

We had room 116. Nice room. We were able to park our car practically outside the room where we were. I enjoyed the use of the desk very much. Delivery for our supper went smooth. Breakfast was delicious. The decorations were beautiful. Saw some amazing Christmas decorations. There is a gift store in the main building. The grounds were interesting loved the layout and of course Santa! . Did not have time to go to it but Frosty's was close by.. walking distance. Store was close by as well. Not far from Holiday World, The Museum, Postoffice and church and The Candy Castle.. Plenty to watch on Tv. Checking in and out the staff was nice. The check in guy brought us more pillows and helped withe the lights above the bed. Bonus, the room was first floor!

No fridge or microwave in the room ( Didn't come with the king bed, it did come with a queen room ). Did not want to start reservation over so we made due with it, plus I was told on a phone conversation that there was a microwave in the main building we could use. We brought our own drinks with us. We do not hold this against the hotel. We wanted the king bed and the micro/fridge. We made our choice. Will come back to hotel in the future.

The location was beautiful and well-maintained. In the perfect spot if you were going to holiday world, the rooms were nice and clean. Our boys loved feeding the fish at the pond and enjoy the little playground they have.

The one thing that I would complain about is there was a lot of ashtrays outside, full of cigarette butts and trash. While this isn’t completely The hotels fault that there are a lot of smoking customers, it did make it somewhat unpleasant when you were walking into the hotel, and a strong smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere. 

We loved the cheery Christmas atmosphere. It felt like we were in a lodge of a Hallmark Movie. Very convenient location.

It was pretty warm in the upstairs hallway. Rooms were older which we knew beforehand and pretty clean. But, the carpet needs replacing as they looked and felt dirty. There were cobwebs in the curtains.

The staff experience was exceptional and I like the locations closeness to my destination (HOLIDAY WORLD). The desk staff noticed that we had medicine for our child and asked if it needed to be refrigerated as there was not a refrigerator in our room. They offered to place it in there refrigerator and let us ask them for the medicine as needed. Beat the cooler we were using.

The pool area was not cleaned very well. Really my only complaint. There was a band-aid on the ground and used towels left around. This made us want to use the outside pool area. The outside pool area was not lit at all and my child was nervous, so much that he begged us to return to the indoor pool area. I would suggest a better cleaning schedule and getting or fixing the outdoor pool lighting system.

The location is great! The staff was friendly & helpful, the room was clean, and the overall atmosphere was very nice. The bed was also very comfortable.

The breakfast was meh. The scrambled eggs were not very good, the biscuits for biscuits & gravy were hard, and some of the sausage was cooked too long. The reception on the TV in the room was also not good, as the picture quality was very poor and looked staticky at times.

We were VERY off season- We were actually the only guests in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Not a 5 star mattress but ok. The lobby was decorated so cute as were the grounds. Front desk was helpful in directions for Lincoln sites and good places to eat. I think this would be a great location during the Christmas festivities.
