biscuits and gravy breakfast with waffles is always a win. Coffee was not stellar. Staff are always exceptionally friendly and helpful. beds are comfy.

the hot tub was out of service at the only time I had availability to use it. step-in shower with shower chair that doesn't fit is an extremely poor set-up. the size of the chair makes it sit uncomfortably lopsided in the shower and then since the chair is twice as big as the shower, the curtain can't keep the water in and it gets all over the floor. also one of the shower heads wouldn't work. if it's user error, directions on how to make both heads work would be nice.

Really great hotel. Double Queen rooms were huge and with 4 kids that's so much appreciated! Safe area, lots of people out exercising, our kids played ball in the empty lot out back. The only downfall was the staff wouldn't let us prop the pool door open while sitting out on the patio. There's no key card opener so you have to go around to the front, absolutely ridiculous. If they could add that or be more lax about allowing something as simple as this, I'd give 5 stars all the way around.

This property was perfect for what we needed and I would gladly go back again! Our room was large and comfortable with a small seating area separate from the bedroom and a good size bathroom. The staff put us on the ground floor because we had a dog and the room was near an exterior door so taking the pup for a walk was a breeze. The hotel amenities were clean and inviting - I loved that the pool and hot tub were open late into the night so we could relax before bed. The staff were lovely to interact with. Ample parking and near lots of walkable dining options and close drive to many Des Moines highlights.

It was a great stay - no recommendations!

Very nice facility, clean and well-kept. The staff was very nice. The room was nice and clean and spacious. The location is great. Cracker Barrel and a mexican restaurant right next door as well as a Hyvee gas station and Wendy's . And it's near the interstate. It's a short distance from shopping too. The pool and hot tub were very nice and big. (12 person hot tub) Breakfast was good and a nice size dining room. We will stay again. There is a workout room, too, and a bonus shower in the pool area for rinsing off. And the hours for the pool are the best yet, 5am-12am🫨

Pool towels are small. I forgot mine. Pillows are down Pillows.

Breakfast was really good, there was enough variety to have something different each day. The waffle machine was up everyday and they had chocolate soy milk! The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. The room was clean. The pool and hot tub were nice and big. We were close to restaurants and shopping centers.

There was a leak in the window. It looked like is was patched up before and it did not hold. It rained on our 4th day there and the rain came in and wet things. There was not enough linen for the pull out bed and the mattress for it was really thin. The pool had way too much chlorine.

The location was perfect. The staff was pleasant. It was quiet.

Well the bill wasn't right at first. They were charging me 25 dollars more than what booking.com had quoted. Found out they bill it for incidentals. It was removed. Then three days later I got billed for two bottles of water that were in my room when I arrived. Never had this happen before. I thought they were complimentary. The lady told me I should read the tag on the bottle. I'm not very happy with this.

The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. The breakfast was pretty good. Clean rooms and towels.

We had a room with two queen beds. One of the beds was on an incline. It wasn’t very comfortable to sleep on. For breakfast it would have been nice to have gluten free bread options and scrambled eggs each morning.

The hotel and accommodations were wonderful! We were looking for a hotel with a pool and breakfast for a mini staycation. This checked all the boxes and was a pleasant surprise!!

Only thing we didn't have and needed was maybe a coffee table, but the sofa was a sleeper so I could see why there wasn't one because of space.

The suite was large like the size of a one bedroom studio apartment. The staff was inviting and polite. Also the selection for breakfast was great.

Although the room was a good size it wasn't as clean as it should have been. there was crumbs under the furniture that I could see when I sat on the couch and I had to go get a blanket because there was only sheets on the bed, other than that my stay was pleasant.

Nice hotel

The bathroom was not clean. There was a large amount of long visible hair on the shower wall. It was very obvious that the tub/shower hasn’t actually been cleaned. So it just made me wonder how well everything else was cleaned. The room was a suite so it was spacious. But I’m just not sure how cleanly it was.
