Loved that they cheerfully moved us from a room meant to be used by a person that needed the extra space in the bathroom to navigate from a wheelchair. It was apparently the only room for us when we checked in late, but we were moved the next night. All this during the Iowa State fair when they were 100% booked some nights.

The bathroom in the original room meant for wheelchair access had no counter, just a sink. In other words there was no place to set down things like a makeup kit in this room's bathroom. The other rooms all had counters I believed. Ask which kind of room you will get at reservation time. Also they should add personal safes where needed.

There was a gas station and some fast food restaurants that you could walk across the parking lot to get to. You didn’t have to mess with getting in a car to find something to eat or to find a gas station to fill up the gas tank The breakfast host was diligent about keeping the breakfast bar stocked and cleaning around the bar and wiping down the tables once guests left. The Belgian waffles were great. They are more practical than the pancake machines or waffle griddles I have run into at other accommodations. All you had to do was pop one in a toaster, and you had a terrific tasting waffle. I enjoyed having an indoor pool to go to. It was nice and warm, and there were plenty of towels available. I also was impressed there was a lift option for individuals with physical disabilities. I know someone who might appreciate that a lodging facility would have that available.

Just some very small things. The TV wasn’t situated somewhere where it was easily seen from the sofa bed. It could be turned so it was visible, though. It would have helped if the hair dryer would be hung up somewhere in the bathroom. I thought there wasn’t one until I saw the bag in the entry closet with the hair dryer in it. I also was expecting a clock, but because there was a night stand nearby where I recharged my phone, I was able to use my phone to keep track of time. Finally, I was scared to use the pool at first because the glass roof was leaking from excess snow, but after that issue resolved itself, I felt comfortable using the pool.

Location was nice. Breakfast was good.

Not sure why were placed in a handicap room. Neither of us is disabled in any way. The bathroom was not really functional for us, as there was no horizontal surface to place our toiletries. Other than that, everything was fine.

The staff member Concheta was excellent. She explained why the pool was closed and assisted me with booking an extra room.

Pool was closed for most of Sunday and that left us with a very upset seven year old who was dying to swim. No hot tub.

Room was clean ,breakfast was great, staff was good

Bathroom vanity light was out, exhaust fan in Bathroom was very very noisy., the waffle machine should be put on the end of the bar holds up line in the middle

The breakfast was great. Kudos for the choice of food( good mix of protein, carbs and besides that, it was all tasty), the attention to cleanliness and the very comfortable area to enjoy the meal. The fact that it also offered packaged breakfast sandwiches which could be taken back to the room(which had a refrigerator(yay) and a microwave) for those who didn't want to go down for breakfast was an added A+.

The breakfast was very good, and the location was very convenient when traveling the interstate.

Some things were a little worn and dated--the curtains had holes in them and one of the towels was pretty threadbare.

Very very quiet room. Extremely comfortable bed. We slept very well.

Breakfast was ... meh. Frozen food, likely from big corporate distributer, microwave re-heated. Rubbery eggs. Coffee was a little thin. Good thing I am not a big breakfast eater.

It was quiet and roomy - I had the single king suite and appreciated the separate couch and tables. The breakfast was well stocked and ready as expected.

Have a roll in shower and a vanity around sink. Floor was slippery, and I was in a handicapped room. Beds need to be lowered.Add a Vertical grab bar by toilet.
