Staff was very friendly. Comfortable bed and good sized room. Easy access to my family home and main street for access to other parts of the town. Breakfast was wonderful and filling with plenty variety.

Someone was smoking pot on Sunday July 9th in the afternoon. The smell permeated the lobby. I think the parking lot is used by local teens for "romantic activities." I was approached by a young lady with a dead car battery asking for a jump. She was not fully dressed and there with her boyfriend.

I don’t like the little refrigerators that they have they’re just small and don’t keep things very cold, but it’s not the hotels fault. It’s like that at all motels.

Close to shopping and restaurants. I was able to do a morning walk thru neighborhood even saw a jogger. It was centralized to places I needed to be The receptionist very helpful and personable

We weren't looking for an extravagant stay, just someplace to sleep and relax while in town for two days. I was disappointed when my preferred hotel was full, so I looked at this one. It had a pool for the kids and was a very decent rate. I will admit the rate seemed a bit low, and I feared we were staying in a dive hotel. I'm all about saving money, so I gave it a shot based on reviews and photos. I'm glad we stayed here - our friends overpaid and stayed at a crowded hotel nearby, and complained that the pool was so busy they didn't have fun. This hotel was remodeled with up to date decor, and was very warm and inviting. The front desk clerk was sweet and I felt welcome from the get-go. Our check-in was smooth and parking was close to the door! My kids love the rolling luggage carts and it made coming/going with multiple bags so much easier. While there wasn't a hot tub for mom, I did enjoy the warm temperature of the pool. So often they are freezing cold, but this one was honestly warm. I was completely surprised that my kids had the pool to themselves both nights. Our room was clean, and the breakfast was very good! All in all, I was extremely pleased with our stay considering the low rate we paid! I would definitely stay here again.

It was great...nothing to change. If a large remodel is in the future, I would definitely consider adding a hot tub for the "old" bones to rest and warm up. Our stay was great.

When we arrived, our room had been canceled somehow; however, staff was accommodating and ensured we had a room and provided us w a great rate for inconvenience. Much appreciated!

Location is quietly tucked away from the roads. All staff are super friendly and the breakfast is as good as I could expect

it was available to book with the Iowa State High School Girls swim meet in town. staff was responsive and polite. I was able to bring my dog, and they booked us in a room near a building exit.

Carpet was filthy. My feet left black marks in the bathtub during my shower. Not enough coffee during breakfast. Staff blocking the food trays and wouldn't move.
