I went to Grinnell for a dog show...my dog stayed in my truck...the grounds were well kept and the room was really clean and comfortable...the employees were nice and the breakfast was good and they didn't charge a deposit for no reason and didn't charge extra for paying with cash....I will stay again in the fall

There was nothing wrong with this hotel

Staff was very friendly, our room was clean, and they gave us what we wanted. Didn't get to try the breakfast though. I don't eat breakfast. But people told us it was very good.

The only thing I didn't like is,there was this guy that kept bothering us when we went outside to have a cigarette. The staff took care of it though

The staff were very nice and helpful. They helped us get around town and gave good recommendations on places to eat and shop in Grinnell. They do their best to help you where they can :)

I can’t say enough about the kindness of the motel staff. They were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I had originally booked the wrong day and they happily changed it; I arrived in the morning after a sleepless overnight bus trip and they let me check in early; and the next morning when I couldn’t get transport to the bus stop, they drove me 3 miles into town, saving me a very long and cold walk on a frosty Iowa winter morning. All with a smile and good wishes. I heartily recommend them for any traveller.

No problems at all.

My reason for coming was we were put out of our house due to a collapsed pipe. We needed a place with water that was close and not to expensive. The team there was great and the price was great

The breakfast was a nice selection.

The bed had only one thin blanket and thin bedspread. Without overheating the room, which is deeply uncomfortable for me, the bedding provided was not warm enough. Extra blankets should be available.

We did not expect more than basic accommodations, and that is what we got in a convenient location for a college reunion. We appreciated the courtesy and attentiveness of the owner/staff.

We had no compaints.

Super easy to get checked in and the facility was clean and quiet.

Just the fact it was sooo cold we did use the pool. Cold outside didn't mean indoors.
