The staff was great and held things even though I wasn't there for 2 more days. The room was a great size.

The air conditioner was very loud and I had to turn it off before bed. The window only had a rolling blind, so I could see outside while sitting on the bed along the edges. I put pillows up against the windows to block the view and the light. If there had been a curtain to block the edges, that would have made me feel more comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was quite large. The breakfast was fine.

The water was not hot enough and the bulbs not strong enough to read by. The tub bottom was very slippery. there were good grab bars to help get in and out of the tub.

The room was clean and spacious. I enjoy the breakfast and what was available. Did not have to wait long to enjoy the hot breakfast. It was quiet could not hear people in the room.

it was humid in the room. You could hear the moisture pooling and not running out of the air conditioner. because of the humidity the towels were damp and just got more damp each time we hung them up to dry.

The manager / owner was super helpful and accommodating. The free breakfast was a typical breakfast, but the staff did a great job of keeping everything replenished. The beds were exceptionally comfortable.

Clean, comfy beds, effective a/c, microwave, nice pool, decent breakfast. Rooms freshly painted and simply decorated. Nothing fancy but everything worked well. Great value for money. Helpful people at the front desk. Vending machine in hotel and a 2 min walk to well stocked travel store. Would stay here again.

Outside could use some landscaping and look more inviting.

Very nice variety also had several gluten-free options for family member

It was a little hard to maneuver around some of the boxes as they are in the middle of transitioning into a Wyndham and all furniture was being redone. Could’ve been out of customers a little bit Better

Air conditioning did not work in the room and the person at the front desk said there were no other rooms. She did call the manager about it and he gave me another room.. strange

Inside everything looked renovated. My room was very large and surprisingly quiet for a hotel.

Getting to the hotel is a little tricky and since it is undergoing renovation they are still waiting for the signs and doing exterior work. I would still stay at this hotel because the inside was nice.

Nice hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, close to the highway and to the cute, small town of Grinnell where we had a delicious dinner at Hometown Heroes. Breakfast was great. All in all a good place to stop on the road!

Nice big room. Nice shower, head high enough for me to stand under. Very comfortable bed. Staff was nice. Breakfast was great, good selection. Was nice having the extra plug ins by the bed for charging things.

Nothing much.
