Nice, clean, easy to get around for able bodied people. We were placed in a handicap accessible room, which we didn't need. However, coming from my special education background, if you truly need a handicap accessible room, you might not have what you need. The shower was made as a roll in shower, but they installed an inch and a half ridgeover the whole opening that no wheelchair could roll over, that was meant to keep the water from going all over the bathroom floor, which would have been a huge falling hazard. Also, the shower head was one that was able to be handheld but would require someone standing to reach it from the holder. I also thought it was off that the microwave was on a shelf my eye level, I am 5'2". There was lots of space in the room to maneuver, so that was a plus. I enjoyed my stay, but also looking out for others reading the review.

There is a very nice attention to detail that makes the hotel a nice place to stay and a nice place to remember and think about for future trips. The pool and fitness room are fantastic, the environment in back of the hotel is fantastic and the small little patio outside the bottom-level rooms in the back are double-fantastic. I also very much like how there's a casino attached to this hotel, not for actually going to it because there's no way I have enough excess money for a casino, but because it helps to make the cost of the rooms much less expensive than they'd otherwise be.

Loved it was on a lake but was about dried up lol. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Motel needs remodeling its old and super 8 motel feel to it. More lights better beds the bed was hard as a rock and lumpy. Add some family friendly fun and you’ll have alot more variety in customers from gamblers to pools kids and theaters! Arcades funcity something to add into the casino fun offer childcare for traveling families that do the family fun during the day and want the casnio adult fun at night leave the kids in the room or the banquet hall or lazer tag whatever use ur imagination

Room was cozy, dark shades, comfortable beds, good mini fridge, clean bathroom.

Older location and musty smoke smell throughout the hotel from smoky casino...maybe in time offer a smoking section and clear out the rest. In the reception area in the morning the tv was quite loud and primarily running obnoxious ads...soothing music was be a major improvement. Overall a great stay though!

The staff were very pleasant to deal with. Smiling faces. The whole place as a whole was exceptional.

The fact that there are tons of people that travel, and we all at some point or another have laundry that desperately needs to be done. This hotel doesn’t have any laundry facilities on site. The closest is the truck stop on the property next door. This was the only issue I had with Lakeside Hotel.

Great place. Rooms were big and clean. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant isn't good. Once we ordered, we were waiting and waiting. Finally got up to find our waitress to ask about our salads. She brought them out and 2 minutes later brought the prime rib. Mentioned it would be nicer if we could enjoy the salad before having our meal and was told, "That's the way they do it here".

The staff was exceptional, especially the gal who assisted me at check in. The work out facility was exceptional, but was surprised no water provided there.

The dirty carpets in the hallway. The carpet in my room was also stained. I could not believe how the carpets in the hallway looked. Overall cleaning looked great, just didn't want to walk without shoes on anywhere.

The entire facility was very clean. The location is great with easy access for travelers going north or south.

The facility was extremely warm. I heard several people complaining about the temperature inside the casino. I think that breakfast should be included or offered at a reduced rate if you are staying at the hotel.

I wish the beds were more comfortable but the staff was very friendly and the food was pretty good.

Everything was pretty clean except a small spot in our shower. It did not take much for us to just wipe it out before using it. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Excellent bed pillows

Too long of a walk for a handicap room. The end if a wing. Executive king room with sink, no cups, no coffee maker. Coffe and tea available in lobby at the end if the long hall. Then the looong walk back ti the room. The casino video poker machines were really tight. Will not be back.
