The atmosphere of the hotel was very nice. The bed was noisy when rolling over or moving around on it. And, no, it was not anything more than sleeping. “Wink”. The only other issue we had was that our room was right where the opening to the first floor entry to the hotel. And while we were on the 2nd floor, I guess the playoffs were on, and the adults sitting at the table watching the game, were quite loud with their enthusiasm. Even run in our own fan, which is noisy, on purpose, didn’t drown out their sound. The staff was EXCELLENT, and the food was delicious! We’d recommend this hotel to our family and friends!

I love this hotel. The king suite was spacious, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well designed. The bed was super firm and comfortable. A small refrigerator and microwave were appreciated. The room was quiet. Breakfast was good with several options. I've stayed in many hotels in Lawrence and I rate this above the two higher priced ones downtown. Unless you don't have a car and need to be downtown, I recommend this one.

My only (minor) complaint is that the bed pillows were too soft and squishy, annoyingly so.

Cheap for Lawrence standards

Quite far away from the university - but it wasn't such a problem as we had someone give us a ride every time we wanted to go somewhere. The breakfast is horrible - but that's to be expected from US-ian hotel breakfast.

Chase, the young man at the reception desk was eager to provide me with the directions to the K.U. campus and was very helpful.

I am gluten free, so there were few choices for breakfast..maybe you could provide gluten free bread for toast or even gluten free muffins? Chopped fruits would be a great addition.

Salt water pool

Pool towels were too small. Refrigerator was missing a foot so it was wobbly. Rainwater shower head didn't have a lot of pressure. There were no extra trash bags provided for the tiny little trash can that was in the room.

Breakfast was very good--loved the egg white frittatas (SP?) But all was good each of the 5 mornings i had breakfast. Real choices and all tasty. The woman who took care of this was outstanding. Really appreciated how she cleaned tables after people left And never let food supply get low or cold. Lights in all lamps provided GOOD lighting--very rare in many hotels Swimming pool was excellent for relaxing and exercise

mixture of pillows--i like a firm pillow. The ventilator fan in my bath did not seem to come on so bathroom got a little musty by the end of my stay

Even though there was the same convenience of road work, it was not noisy and the hotel was clean. Liked the location being g close-ish to downtown but in a neighborhood.

The breakfast was okay -no worse or better than other facilities.

Mr Stanley provided excellent service when helping me with the heating/ac issues. ( my issue, not the equipment).

Windows were filthy dirty making it difficult to see outside.

What was most impressive was that after accidentally leaving a duffle of clothes in the parking lot while we rearranged our packing, the hotel kept the bag when someone found it and even carried it out to the car of our 90-yr-old friend who picked it up. Thank you!!!

Breakfast was very good, too bad we were in a hurry. Orange juice was a wee bit watery though I forgot to mention, the cleaning person was extremely nice and helpful, we met in the elevator and in our short conversation, she seemed to enjoy her job. Being both Natives, it was wonderful to meet a member of the Cheyenne Nation and being far from home from our reservation, it was great to compare our culture with one another. She had a beautiful smile and I appreciate her willingness to converse. I learned a lot.
