I stayed in the porch room for a week and a friend stayed in a different room for part of that time. Both rooms were cute and uniquely decorated. The porch room is particularly spacious. The coffee set-up, mini-fridge, and other amenities were great. The best part was the location close to the French Quarter but also to the Bywater, which was my favorite area to explore. The porch room was located back behind a gate, which made it feel safer and also decreased street noise. I didn't meet the owners but they were quick to reply when I asked if I could store my luggage. The hot tub was often occupied by another group at the times I was around, so I did not get to use it, but it's nice that it's there.

I am a light sleeper and did get some noise transfer from guests in the 2 adjacent rooms; they weren't doing anything too noisy, but just coming back to the room to get ready for bed, opening/closing doors, etc. at 2am woke me up. The building is older so I think this is unavoidable. Also, some aspects of the building are quirky, like the wood is old, so the front door on the room has warped and I found it difficult to lock the security latch. But these are small things and overall the place was great.

The Blue60 is a FABULOUS place to stay while in New Orleans! I had the Magnolia room; a large bedroom with charming funky decor, a very comfortable bed, and a great shower. There's even a clawfoot tub with romantic lighting if one would rather take a bath. It's set within an amazing garden; a water fountain pond with goldfish and koi, gorgeous lush garden plants with swing and hammock chairs. A large ceiling fan and the air conditioner provided pure relief after a sweaty activity. The neighborhood is perfect; just steps from Frenchmen Street and the Quarter, a bar or a bakery or quaint shop on every corner, an ATM down the block, a really good grocery store across the street (with an excellent deli for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a coffee bar) and the ubiquitous Starbucks. (I highly recommend Baldwin's Books for your coffee.) I used Lyft for longer forays into the city; very cheap. The cute St. Roch neighborhood is in walking distance with some awesome restaurants along the way (try Arabella's for the pasta; outstanding). MaryAnne and Chris are excellent communicators. I appreciated their help with a small issue. Most rooms are inside a locked courtyard, and they make it easy to remember your door code. In short: you will NOT go wrong in selecting Blue60 for your visit to New Orleans.

The location was very good to get into the centre of the French Quarter.(5-10 mins walk) There was a little cafe just up the road. There were only two of us staying but there was a spare pull up bed for another person. The bed was very big and very comfortable. There was plenty of drawer space for two people. There was a market across the road for further supplies. The host provided a useful information display of local attractions. We used United Cabs for the trip to the airport.

As we didn't eat/cook in the room it suited us fine for those who wanted to do more the lack of extra sink might have been a slight problem. But given that there are so many facilities in walking distance it wasn't a problem.

Beautiful characteristic house in residential area right off of Frenchmen street. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. You can easily walk to the French Quarter as well. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe, and felt more authentic than the very touristic areas in the French quarter. There's a lovely patio with a hot tub which is nice if you stay longer (we didn't use it). Hosts were responsive and there is luggage storage available as well.

Being right next to a bigger street, it tended to be slightly noisy with cars and motor bikes. But other than that, everything was perfect.

We loved our stay...It was the perfect walking distance for everything in the Quarter, while still being removed enough that it was quiet and peaceful. I found the beds to be cozier than expected, and the setup of the room allowed for my husband to watch tv while I read in a separate area. Rooms were decorated really cute, and we found it to be reasonably priced for what we got, and again, the location was perfect for exploring the French quarter and Marigny. Owner was on site and friendly, waters in the room and coffee station were appreciated, and the garden decorations were adorable. Thanks to the hotel for hosting us, we'd definitely stay again!

Beautiful little New Orleans cottage. Right on parade route. Some lite travel on other days nice people out walking their dogs. Close to stores for groceries and Walgreens is very nearby. Loved the courtyard and walking to Frenchman's St. Walking distance to the French Quarter and streetcar lines. Well decorated and room for two more adults as there is a day bed and roll away. Extra blankets as well. Loved being on the little stoop and watching the local color. Got a great rate about 1and 1/2 weeks before our event. Would stay again for sure

A little cleaner because it's such a cool place that would bring it up. But I also understand the age of this beautiful building. That was the only thing that for us could have been better. There are two bars on the corners but could never heard them unless outside. The road in front is busy at times but the oak tree in front is all I could focus on, it was beautiful.

The property was really well kept and the owner did a good job with organising arrival and check-in plus the PIN code instead of the key was a life saver as I always lose keys. The room itself had a nice interior and it was clean. We didn’t use the patio that much but I would have, had I had more time. We had some issues with the toilet and the owner sorted it out promptly.

We honestly thought it was closer to the French Quarter. It was close to the Frenchman street though, which was our favourite street in NOLA. The bed was a touch too soft as we generally prefer it hard, but I guess that’s a personal preference

I've stayed at this wonderful spot on a previous trip, and have really enjoyed my stay both times,...great location near (but outside the craziness of) the French Quarter. Close walk to Frenchman street for food and live jazz (make sure to check out The Spotted Cat for jazz!) Garden was in full bloom and perfect spot to cool off in the evening, room was clean, bed was comfy, and owners were very warm and accommodating, all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful, colourful and quirky property. Great location. We had an issue with our microwave and it was dealt with very efficiently. Great correspondence with the owners, who were also very accommodating to our needs and had a cot for our baby all set up. The garden is a magical wonderland. Stay in a garden-facing property, if possible.

It was quite noisy as we were right on the main road. A garden room would be much quieter, especially if you have small children/light sleepers. The bathroom door was quite dirty (overlooked brown handprints where people open the side of the door, and streaks of make-up/food which I wiped off), otherwise the place was spotless!

great all round location but two of the rooms are on the main road. Great facilities and all round attitude about the booking. Super easy going and the place is decorated personally in a way that makes you feel like an adult, not a corporate place that seem terrified you’ll steal anything that isn’t nailed down.

Make sure you ask which room is on the road as the noise from that does not stop all night
