The location was perfect! Just far enough from all the popular sites but close enough to be walkable! The architecture of the building was phenomenal and the rooms were spacious.
There was mold growing out of the air conditioner vent of room 512 and the Roman shade was broken so I couldn’t raise it for a clear view. Also, I had to turn the heat way up because there wasn’t a duvet just a sheet and light blanket on the bed.

Overall, my stay was excellent. The room was a great size and comfortable! I liked the overall aesthetic of the property. It was also a plus having fast moving elevators.
Upon check out, I was approached (not really assisted) by front-desk employee named Dexter. While I was expecting the departure to go well, I asked a few clarifying questions of the final charges and the overall check out process. It was clear that my questions annoyed Dexter. He responded with a condescending tone and not a very professional attitude overall. I understand that customer service can be testing and challenging at times; however, guests/customers expect professional treatment at all times. I recommend that Dexter be trained on finding ways to probe or discover what may be unclear or confusing to a guest and find better ways to provide details without sarcasm and unpleasantries.

Nice stay in lovely hotel with original building’s grandeur with spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff; concierge with a lot of useful info! Restaurant and bar on site. Walking distance from French Quarter, decent neighborhood. Had an issue with cleaning/towels, but this was resolved the same day.
Heavily used mattresses showing a dent in the middle, not extremely comfortable. We had a room next to the elevator: try to avoid this! Not many sun beds by the pool, and several broken. The hotel does NOT offer car and/or bike rental. City bike rental is possible down the street.

I loved everything from the decor to the drink demonstration. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Kevin, was very helpful by providing an ample list of Black-owned restaurants in the area to try. The bathrooms on the first floor were immaculate every time I used it. I loved the scent of the hand lotion and soap. The roof top bar and pool was great to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Paul is a great and friendly bartender.
Only thing that was missing is that I did not receive of box of chocolates when I checked in but it wasn’t intentional. My room wasn’t ready and when it was they gave me my key and sent me on my way.

Location (close to Quarter, Garden District, etc.) and hotel staff and amenities were great!
Unclear destination fee / food & beverage credit applicability and, as an allergy sufferer, pet dander in the air in-room (not just public spaces).

We got married in Slidell and chose to stay in New Orleans at NOPSI Hotel—and we’re so glad we did! Everything was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We booked a suite, and I absolutely loved the soaking tub,it was the perfect way to relax after such a special day. The breakfast was also top-tier, with delicious options and great service. NOPSI added an extra layer of magic to our wedding weekend!
After getting married in Slidell, we spent our wedding night at NOPSI Hotel in New Orleans—and it was absolutely magical. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—right in the heart of the city, close to everything but still peaceful and private. We stayed in a gorgeous suite and I completely fell in love with the soaking tub—it was the most relaxing way to end such a beautiful day. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and felt like such a treat. From the atmosphere to the service, everything was flawless. NOPSI truly made our wedding weekend unforgettable.

Stunning property with a history you should show an interets in as the staff are keen to tell you about it (ask Kevin the porter who was an absolute gentleman throughout our stay, just an asset to the hotel). Reception was warm and the room is a nice size for a city centre hotel (again because an old building, converted office space). Beds are comfortable and the best thing, no noise, complete silence (thick walls). The location is absolutely perfect for exploring New Orleans, no car needed, the StreetCar and by foot is fine. Centrally placed for Canal Street and the French Quarter (easy by foot), just 2 blocks to the StreetCar for the Garden District and we even took the Canal Street StreetCar up to City Park which was beautiful. Perfect also for a Pelicans (which we did) or Saints game, 10 block walk but totally safe. Rouse's supermarket is just a few blocks down the street also as is Enterprise which is where we picked up our car when we left. The area felt safe, not so much further up Canal Street out of town which is where we were first looking (Jung's). Fresh Coffee at reception every morning and water through the day.
No breakfast, wasn't expecting any as wasn't in the description but for the price there could be something on offer. That said, you would miss out on all the great breakfasts around New Orleans - like the Eggs Benedict at Jimmy J's !!

The size of the rooms are fab. Larger than most 1 bedroom apartments in NYC, the room service was the fastest we ever had and food was good. Great location, barman was helpful, introduced us to a new Irish gin, our new fave.
We thought the place had a tiny smell of damp throughout the building and most of the staff were friendly, the check in process was very long and the staff up in the pool area were so unwelcoming or helpful. We tried to order 2 salads and the lady said we couldn’t because they “would go bad by the time they left the kitchen to arrive at the pool” even though we ordered and eating club sandwiches at the time which made no sense. We ended up ringing the hotel ourselves, ordered the salads and had them delivered

Loved the hotel and the little extras like getting the toiletries we needed to our room, bed was amazing and hotel pool was great. Location excellent
The hidden resort fees for WiFi and the like. WiFi should be a standard thing and it was a bit of a shock when we checked in. Loved there was tea and coffee but the tea wasn't stocked daily.
