Everyone was very nice. Free water in the mini fridge!

I don’t think they did any housekeeping in between the days.

I like the fact it’s not inside New Orleans(20-25 minute drive to French Quarters) depending on traffic. It’s a nice quiet place with not a lot beside it which was relaxing. The staff was excellent and the motel has a restaurant owned by a local family(Family Cajun Kitchen). The food was great and ran by a great family.

Keep in mind this is not a Marriot or Holiday Inn, it’s a small owned motel so it’s does have things people will not like. The rooms have been fairly maintained over the years but it could use some renovations to the rooms(paint, flooring, etc.). Overall for the price, location, staff and restaurant I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Hotel and restaurant staff were all friendly and very nice. Liked the quieter location away from the hustle and bustle of nola proper, but not too far away so you can still get there pretty quickly when youre up for some of that nola fun. Restaurant was great, really good food and different specials everyday! Room was very clean and comfortable, and they were very flexible when I needed to extend my stay. They also serve coffee and danish in the mornings which was a nice touch :)

Was a little bummed that they no longer have the hot tub, would have been nice to soak.. But they do have a nice outdoor pool for when the weathers right! :) Overall very nice and relaxing stay, no complaints here! Thank yall!

Our room was clean enough that we didn’t feel uncomfortable or like anything gross was gonna get on us. It was more updated than the last time we stayed here and I’m grateful for that because this truly was going to be the last chance this hotel got and I’m happy to say they passed the test. All we needed was a clean room without anything disgusting in it so we could get to our fishing charter first thing in the morning.

The door on our room was pretty difficult to lock because the door is warped a bit in the jamb. They could clean a little better. The carpet is pretty old & needs to be replaced. Hair and dust is collected in the corners and there are holes in the bathroom floor where the previous vanity was bolted down.

I know this hotel is older bc it was around when I was a kid in the 2000s, but the renovations made it better than I expected for the age of the place.

There is only one pool. Looking in the site it says adjacent to downtown which is technically correct bc the 9th ward is downtown but travelers might think that means Canal street area…. Way off.

The room was spacious and clean, and we could smoke in the room.

The parking lot needs repairs, potholes filled and painted curbs. I believe the description said cable tv but it was more like an antenna, we watched Fox News channel all weekend because there were only 2 others channels that came in.

The room smelled nice and was clean. Everything worked perfectly. It was my second time at this hotel therefore I knew what to expect and this time didn't fall short of my expectations with regards to cleanliness.

Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM but got delayed 2 hours later. The explanation I got from the office is that it was because previous guests did not leave their rooms on time, therefore no clean rooms were available yet. I still find this to be disappointing. Thankfully, I did not have anything serious appointment scheduled later on. Another minus point is that I booked a room for 3 people, but it turns out the room featured two small beds, both just a tiny bit larger than the one you usually have for one person, which was bothersome.

The ladies at the reception were so friendly... Little bit far away from downtown but if you have car, you can reach the french market area like 15 20 minutes... and you can park there much easier than downtown and you can walk through French Market and Rhe Bourbon St... We loved New Orleans and the hotel as well... The fee is good compare to other downtown hotels for sure.

I have stayed here a couple times before because the price was good. but be sure to ask for a smoke free interior room. the ones in the back are no good. The room I was in this time was the best one so far. The beds are very comfortable tho.

We always enjoy our stay at the Marina. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Only a $28 Uber ride to the French Quarter. Way safer than staying down in New Orleans.

They were all booked up for the Super Bowl in February. 😂
