Although it’s 15 minutes to Bourbon Street on the tram it’s a great place to come home to at the end of a hectic day of exploring. Our room was huge and super comfy once Dee kindly replaced my rock hard pillow with a lovely soft one. The staff are kind and helpful. Parking on site at the rear of the property is great. Would return.

Breakfasts were sweetly prepared but usually cold. I’d strongly recommend you switch to a buffet style breakfast with hot food kept in chafing dishes. And maybe some healthy options such as plain yogurt etc.

We spent 3 nights at the Canal St Inn and enjoyed very tasty bfasts, charming bnb home with great architecture, very comfortable bed, perfect size and location of room, much appreciated all amenities especially the hot tub! We so appreciated Monica's efforts, friendliness and hospitality! Highly recommend this charming bnb and location! Thank you Monica!!

Unfortunately not the case with another male employee who at best went through the motions, offered nothing to improve our stay and was not concerned with any level of customer service. First impressions are everything and his was negative, aloof and unconcerned with our experience. As a small business owner in Atl (CDEeventbartender.com) I know all too well the importance of good reviews and work extremely hard to earn them. Every time, every event.

The staff here is so friendly! It felt like we were visiting relatives. They weren't overly so, though. As an introvert, I'm not a fan of forced conversations. We chatted, but we're left to our day quickly. I would be remiss in not mentioning the delicious breakfast, too. OMG! It's a highlight of our stay.

The first night, we were a little chilled in our room, and the space heater provided didn't work. We mentioned it at breakfast. The situation was righted immediately. The rest of our stay was warm and cozy.

We had an amazing stay at the Canal Street Inn. The hosts are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They are also well informed on the goings-on in the city. The property is beautiful and lovingly decorated. Our room was huge, with a private bathroom, minifridge and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable - I have back problems and yet I slept very well. The breakfast is just perfect, different dishes every morning -and all of them delicious. The street car, which stops in front of the Inn, will take you straight to the French Quarter. We highly recommend this beautiful Inn. We would love to go back!

Canal Street does get quite a bit of traffic (including street cars and the occasional first responder vehicles). It didn't bother us, but if you are sensitive to street noise, request a room at the back of the property.

I loved the Canal Street Inn! From the moment we walked in, it was like walking into a 20th century painting. There were so many beautiful details in the architecture. There was also so many benefits. We got a tour of the space from Monica, the Innkeeper. She let us know where and when to have breakfast, pick up the streetcar, and how to navigate through New Orleans. The location was perfect. Not noisy or close to the hustle and bustle of central New Orleans. Everything we wanted, we got from the Canal Street Inn.

Out of hours check in was stressful because the QR code failed and the house looked empty from the parking lot. When we rang the bell Monica was able to tell us how to get in.

Everything!!! From simple instructions for after hour check-in, beautiful comfortable and clean room to wonderful breakfast each morning. We chose this BnB because of the reviews and the place itself. Absolutely loved it. We stayed in the Audubon King Room. Monica is absolutely fantastic.

The only thing was the sticking of our door to our room. It was hard to open and close. The bottom of the door needs shaving as it doesn't close/open properly. But this was a very minor nuisance.

The inn is beautiful and a little quirky. We had a large room and bathroom that was beautifully furnished. The innkeeper, Monica is lovely and goes above and beyond. Breakfasts were 3 courses of perfection, everything was delicious. The location is great. It’s a quiet, residential/business area away from the tourist areas, but close enough to everything that we were never more than 10-15 minutes away. The outside grounds and garden are lovely. It was a perfect place to stay. We were there at a quiet (and very hot) time of year and the inn was a great place to come back to. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful inn, friendly staff. Was able to grab the trolley right out front! It was unfortunate that we were there for the BLIZZARD of the century!!! Half of our activities were cancelled because of the impending ‘doom’ of snow in the forecast. It took us 2.5 hrs to get out of New Orleans. The breakfast was ok, Different every morning.

Beautiful house in a residential area with restaurants nearby. Wonderful cooked breakfast daily. Lots of privacy and a beautiful garden beside the house. Our room had a lounge area, walk out to the terrace, plus mini fridge with drinks you can pay for and complimentary tea and coffee
