The location and it was very secured.

No microwave in the room. Refrigerator was small and when booking it said you will have a robe nd slippers and I had none.

Great location, central to French quarter and the festival fairgrounds.

I just got back home to Australia from staying at the Jung Hotel last week. The hotel was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was bigger than I had imagined and the facilities were very good. The location is on Canal street near the Joy theatre. This was perfect as it was a short walk to all the main attractions and not in the way of the sketchy atmosphere of Bourbon Street. I had my wallet and phone stolen on Bourbon and the staff were so helpful and kind in assisting me, so that I could communicate home and call my banks etc to sort out my problems. Unfortunately this incident has scarred me a little from returning to New Orleans, but I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Our room 625 was fabulous !! All of the staff we had contact with were more than helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom very spacious. The overall feeling was elegant. The sun deck with plenty of chairs and sun lounges, also had a refreshing pool. The pool on our first day was a little cloudy, however after contacting reception it was pretty much sparkling the following day. Great location !!! I loved our room key card, it was very cute. The free use of the laundry that had a guest microwave was a real bonus.

On arrival we had everything we needed. However there was not one day that we didn’t have to ask for water, coffee and cups, which we a little disappointing. There needs to be a sign on the pool door, as I constantly watched people try to get out into the area. The doors are so very heavy, so need a sign to let people know to push Hard.

I loved how spacious my room was. The bed was comfortable and the lighting options were great. I really appreciated the dual shower head.

My room phone was broken and covered in dust. All of the details of the space were so nice, but it felt like the hotel phone was plucked from an old storage unit. One or two keys were missing and it also didn't appear to work (that very much could have been a user error, but there wasn't any signage either). I only noticed this because I didn't get the wifi info and was trying to call the front desk. When I would hit the buttons nothing would dial in, so I ultimately went down stairs. I had no use of the phone otherwise, but this is an area of improvement. I would expect this type of thing from a Quality Inn or some equivalent.

This is an old hotel refurbsished with modern everything and BIG rooms, lotsa space. There were minor quirks eg a loose shower tap but more than compensated for by the tiled floors, lotsa room, good bedding and chairs, office space (!) large safe takes a big laptop. So convenient to Canal St streetcars, close to French Quarter, safe feel of immediate neighbourhood (tick of approval from our wharf porter too)

No operating cafe and it's a walk to the nearest (subway, or down to around the Roosevelt Hotel for coffe, breakfast, drugstores etc.) we accommodated by geting breakfast stuff the day before and eaving in our room. Sizeable fridge. WOuld've liked a microwave too.

I'd never heard of the Jung Hotel, and only found it through a search for a hotel on Booking.com. I'm so glad I did. I loved the location - 10 min walk from Bourbon Street! It was clean - so many places to take cute pics. the room was spacious and it was much larger than expected. There was a coffee shop, a restaurant and I loved the view from the rooftop pool area. Definitely plan to stay here on any upcoming visits to New Orleans. The price I paid was unbelievable. I've paid a whole lot more, for a whole lot less. Hate that I was there for only 1 night (prior to leaving on a cruise). The valet parking IS pricey $50/night and there is a $75 refundable deposit placed on a credit card.

Check in was spectacular and the room was better than I thought it would be based on a video I saw on YouTube. The beds were good, the pillows were good, there was plenty of space for all our bags, it was well lit and it seemed to be very clean. Although I made did not come for the 3 days we were there but I never asked if that was something we had to request or not. So that's not a complaint This is a good hotel to stay in if you're looking for something inexpensive and nice

I wouldn't say there's anything we did not like. The water in the shower could have been hotter.

Location is great! Rooms are big for the price paid and so comfortable! Staff are friendly and access to hotel/rooms is very easy.
