The location was great- one block away from Frenchman Street, which is much more clean and fun to eat and have fun than Bourbon, and two blocks away from the French Market. There were really good neighborhoods for shopping and eating with cool shops within 6 blocks of our location that I had never experienced before. We were so glad we stayed there.

There wasn’t anything to dislike. I was concerned about the location in the beginning, but it really wasn’t an issue.

Hampton Inn New Orleans French Quarter Market Area is very well located, just a short walk from the French Quarter. The room was excellent—spacious, clean, and cozy. All appliances, including the air conditioner, worked perfectly. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious.

The toilet seat was smaller than the toilet itself, which was uncomfortable. Also, the shower lacked a handheld showerhead, and the water pressure was very low. Parking is quite expensive, but the parking area itself and the payment system are very well organized and convenient. It would also be great if the TV supported AirPlay or similar screen sharing options.

The property was only about a 10 minute walk to most of the quarter, we were able to walk to most of our activities. The property was clean and well kept, you saw people cleaning and helping keep areas dry(we had lots of rain). The breakfast was delicious and had a decent selection. The pool area was well kept and very enjoyable. They had on site laundry. The parking lot for the private parking was easily accessible and we enjoyed the security of having it. Over all the hotel stay was great and we would come back and stay again. We liked that they had added security of having to badge in the hotel and elevator. The staff was very attentive and nice.

The parking lot was not very well made for bigger cars but we did make it work. Only one night did we have to park on the street. There was a spot available for us to park in but due to others parking jobs and how big my van is I couldn’t fit(this is at no fault of the property)

Initially, I was concerned about the location, but it ended up being great and out of the larger tourist trap. We were able to walk to 90% of the locations we visited including the French Market, JAMNOLA, and Frenchmen St. We were also able to walk to Bourbon St and even further beyond Canal without any issues. Breakfast was sufficient and coffee was available throughout the day. Courtney and Brandee were great resources throughout our stay.

This is no fault of the hotel, but the area or strip the hotel is on could use some developing and renovating. While the hotel was great, this initially made me pause. I would have loved if housekeeping could check back in later for us later risers, but I understand they have a large workload.

The coffee was amazing and the breakfast was hot and convenient. It's not award winning but good enough to tide you over. The location was perfect just two blocks off Frenchman and a 10 min walk to Cafe du Monde. The hotel is brand new despite what you see on google maps street view. The staff were super friendly. You have to remember New Orleans is part of the south so no one is in a big rush. You should slow down too and enjoy. It was quiet and we slept like babies with the super comfortable bed and pillows.

My wife wished there was a better full length mirror in the room.

Location is excellent and the staff can't be beat. Our room was super clean and exceeded what we expected. The bed is open to personal opinion, good or bad. It of course isn't home but I slept well. I like the security person at night and that floors cannot be accessed without a room card. The lobby is clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was included in our stay however only a family memeber and friend ate. There weren't complaints to me if there were any.

The location is great! If you are able to walk, most everything can be reached that way. I will say that if there is a walking disability you will likely need a Lyft or Uber. I truly cannot think of anything that I didn't like about the hotel or staff. I will be a returning customer I hope somewhere in the near future.

The room was big and exceeded expectations for the price. We got the king with pull out couch. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was hot and not bad. Coffee was stellar! Balcony was perfect size Comfy beds super clean rooms Bathroom clean and modern Bourbon street is close enough but far enough for quite nights Decatur was good to park for free and also was a good strip to walk prob my fav.

Overall, The homeless population is over grown. Trash across the street from the property is visible when walking to room. When entering french quaters you pass by the homeless and the smell of urine is really bad.

The breakfast options were great! Varying between options on different days is perfect. Great facility, nice pool area! The facility was very secure and the staff were welcoming. The room staff did a great job of cleaning and maintaining.

Breakfast bacon should have some chewy options for those who don't like crunchy. The TV was hard to figure out, and I'm not quite 30 years old. My spouse had trouble, too. We ended up using the Tubi option on the TV because some others, including Live TV, didn't seem to work. We didn't call to ask about it, though.

The hotel itself was beautiful! The property is very clean. Even the common are - used for breakfast and the pool.

The parking options. I wasn’t aware that valet was $40 a night. Other options seems a little unsafe considering there wasn’t an actual designated parking area other than valet.

Great staff. Facility had free guest laundry. Be sure to bring your own soap and dryer sheets as hotel will provide at cost to you. Location was wonderful even though French Quarter was close we had to walk as there were no direct paths to facility

Did not know we could have not secured parking on street and were charged $40 dollars a Nite to park car. Long way to get to dinner.
