Great property close enough to walk to everything but also far enough way. Hotel has charm and character. Lovely staff. It has old world charm.

The beds - not going to lie they were horrid - after 3 nights I need to go back to the physio. Even my 8 year old slept on the day bed in preference to the bed as it was more comfortable. Up grade the beds and you’d have 10 out of 10

I booked this room knowing it was small but had a balcony which was the main thing I wanted for a stay in New Orleans. It was perfect. Its historical and well kept! The ladies that cleaned the rooms (You get daily cleaning!) were so sweet, the front desk was very cordial. The room was clean, everything I needed was there. It was perfect! Do be prepared for the elevator that is very small and makes a lot of noise. I was pretty convinced there was a spirit in the attic pulling ropes to take us up haha. But in a building this old we are just thankful there is an elevator?

I wish there had been a light I could turn on out on the balcony.

Location, location, location. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Very clean facilities. The parking space is a very important perk of this hotel. Reiterating, the location of this hotel is perfect, close to everything, but at the same time, quiet and relax area. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in New Orleans.

The furniture in the room it's a little dated, and the decor in the room wasn't what I expected. I got a room that was like out of the way, and probably wasn't the bestter one.. Nevertheless, next time in New Orleans I'd stay there for sure.

Location was great, walkable to most things, staff did a great job cleaning the room every day, staff were also friendly. While on a ghost tour they told us this could have been the inspiration to the song house of the rising sun so that is pretty cool.

Be sure to not leave any food smelling items in the trash when going to sleep. We got chicken and threw the bones out and woke up to a mouse in the room. My suggestion either ensure it is tied up in a bag or play the tv. It was not a big deal once we made noise the mouse left. Also I don’t know if it was boats or the trolly but one late night and really early some mornings there was loud noises every 10 minutes or so.

Very quant and cute hotel close enough to everything but far enough away to not be loud. I would definitely stay here again. The parking is a plus but we got here way too early to secure a spot to unload and then in the garage. Not sure if anything would be left by 3:00, or at all in a weekend, but we lucked out! Staff were friendly and as were all our questions, building was great and I’m sure would have plenty of stories if the walls could talk. All in all, can’t wait to come back next year!

Loved my stay at the hotel. It was very cozy. I interacted with 2 people at the front desk and both were good to talk to.

The parking was a little inconvenient. It is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which is not much. But, there was heightened security due to Super Bowl and most of the roads were closed. After a 9-hour drive from Dallas, it took me another 20-25 minutes to reach the parking garage, going round and round as every road was blocked, I had to park my car on the road, walk down to talk to a police officer to explain him the situation and convince him to physically move the barriers to let me in so I could reach the parking garage and then the walk back to the hotel. All this was a bit too much for a tired body.

The location is great and the staff is very friendly. They always had fresh coffee in the lobby. The building is approx. 200 years old so it sort of has its on character and charm. Itscleaner than I expected based on some reviews. There is a great bake shop across the street too.

Its a very old building so I dont think it could have or should have been any better but for the sake of potential guest, some of the rooms are quite small and youll have to manage your space well. Some reviews suggested it isnt clean. I didnt find that to be the case. Being an old building it isnt pristine. There is cracked and peeling paint, some banged up doors and railing etc. but nothing feels unsanitary. They do seem to clean the rooms well. Getting hot water in mornings can be a challenge though.

excellent location for The Mint, and Frenchman Street. Quiet neighborhood. Decent restaurants in the immediate area. Mini Fridge in room. AC was marvelous. little courtyard to have a cup of coffee and relax. Staff was AMAZING. Very friendly and helpful.

Room itself was clean. AC vent and exhaust vent in bathroom needs to be cleaned. Chairs in room could be updated.

A liked that the room was very period decorated like something from the mid-1900's in the old city area. It was very clean and quiet though there were pubs all around the area. It had a small courtyard area where you could sit and drink coffee, etc. There was a small refrigerator and an ice machine/vending machines nearby. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Parking is a real issue. We ended up parking on the street nearby but we unloaded all our luggage, not just the overnight, because I wasn't comfortable leaving it in the car. There was no way to make coffee in the room (no small coffee brewer) so you have to dress and go to the lobby for coffee or hot tea.

The staff were exception in their courteousness and customer service. This was an unusual time for New Orleans and they went out of their way to make everyone's stay memorable. I was there during the blizzard and I am especially grateful for the heater in the room and the hot water. This location is perfectly situated in the French Quarters. And an added bonus was the secure parking garage.

Truly there is nothing I didn't like. This was a fantastic trip only made better by Warren and his staff/facilities.
