Loved this hotel. Perfect NOLA location in a safe area. Really feels like a huge house, with rooms off a courtyard and a pool. Air conditioning amazingly efficient, and really comfy beds. Nice and quiet for such a noisy city - but walkable to all the points of interest. Lovely staff, who gave us some great recommendations for places to go, eateries and things to see. The shower wasn’t great (water pressure sucked!) but everything else was wonderful and I’ve already recommend to others planning a trip to NOLA. Thank you!

The location is excellent. Close enough to all of the hustle and bustle of the shops and nightlife, but far enough away to feel private and secluded. We stayed in a ground floor room right next to the courtyard. It was just so beautiful and so lovely to go out and sit and sip our coffee in the morning. Hardly anyone used the pool, so it was always clean and quiet and available. The facilities and room look exactly like the pictures online. The bartenders at The Ice House were perfectly personable if you wanted to chat and perfectly removed but available for service if you just wanted to chat with your friends. All of the staff were friendly and went above and beyond.

I turned the air conditioner down too low and it frozen. But maintenance came and fixed it immediately. We had zero issues after that.

My husband and I stayed 1 night en route to Houston on a business trip. It was such a nice stay that we decided to return several days later en route back home, and even added an extra night. The staff are very friendly and helpful, complimentary coffee, buy 1/ get 1 drink special at the bar and it’s walkable to everything. They were able to accommodate our high top sprinter van at valet which was roughly $55 after tax / night. Cafe du Monde is right down the street, some of the best galleries are right behind you on Royal, Frenchmen St is a short walk away as well as Bourbon.

Beautiful boutique hotel! Staff was excellent. Everyone from the front desk, to the maintenance man, to the man who made the coffee every morning. They were all extremely welcoming. The location was perfect. It was close to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, French market, Frenchman Street. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, courtyard & pool were well kept and clean. 100% would stay here again.

Beautiful, a breath of fresh air from the city. Clean, serene, with such friendly, kind, warm staff. Rich in history, but updated, classic and fashionable. They do a great job at this location, and it's honestly such a beautiful treasure in the French quarter.

The STAFF - the only reason why this isn't a straight 10. Unpleasant, borderline rude, not proactive, say NO a lot. Not possible, cannot do, don't know etc - very frustrating

I loved that we were able to walk to all attractions. It was close enough to everything yet far enough to have that quiet, intimate experience.

There is a rustic, ol' Naw'lins charm--starting with the courtyard...but running through the free morning coffee and the friendly, helpful staff. It feels like the memory of someplace you've stayed before and loved...and it's definitely someplace you want to return to. Easy walking distance to the Market...and to Cafe' du Monde. Restaurants are within blocks that pass quickly while strolling past a myriad of shops. Across the street from the hotel are planters filled with beautiful flowers, flowing potato vine--set against brick buildings and courtyard walls. New Orleans is the home of wrought iron balustrades and long hallways--at the end of which are more secret gardens and enchanting courtyards. There's nothing quite like New Orleans--American's most European city. And, The Hotel Provincial is the perfect blend of old world charm and New World cleanliness and function. We loved our time there...and will return!

We arrived by taxi initially but then walked. This hotel is on the Esplanade Ave side of French Quarter near waterfront (just above Decatur St). It was quiet (we had a poolside room but it was April and only a quiet adult ever used the pool). The courtyard is beautiful! Complimentary coffee is served beginning at 6:00am, which I drank in the courtyard. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the fan and AC made getting the perfect room temp a breeze. Staff were always friendly and helpful—like most people there! Fantastic vacation.

I did not know several rooms would be poolside and was grateful there was quiet any time we went to our room—likely because it was April. The place, room, people… were great.

Best option for safe, worry free parking while you’re in the French Quarter. Location doesn’t get any better. French Market across the street. Valet was amazing & helpful allowing us to keep the car there while we played in the French Quarter after checkout. Front desk lady was super sweet! We’ve stayed here twice & haven’t stayed at a better location. Not on Bourbon St but close enough.

Room views sucked this stay. Housekeeping opened my kids’ room door in the morning (son was still sleeping) & left it just all the way open y’all!!! I found it wide open & him sound asleep with all their luggage & everything just sitting there. No clue how long it was like this as we were out getting coffee & breakfast so could’ve been an hour! Not cool. No business entering our rooms 3-4 hours before checkout time!
