The location is great! The inside of the unit is beautiful and well kept with plenty of room for my family of 6. The courtyard was very pretty and an unexpected bonus. There was a full kitchen stocked with pots and pans. I like that there's a gate code to get into the property so we felt safe sitting outside in the courtyard to relax. My family and I really enjoyed it here.We will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately there was a puddle in front of our unit almost the entire time we were there. I guess the ground slopes exactly in front of where we were staying because the whole time we were there it was wet. We had to try to step over the puddle each time we entered and exited our door and my kids shoes kept getting wet and tracked water and dirt inside. Also, one bedroom had terrific lighting and the other was dim as a dungeon lol. They did have lamps but it wasn't enough to really see well. Still a fabulous place though!

Nicely redecorated. Comfy beds. Great location close to everything in the French Quarter but on a (mostly) quiet street. Staff are wonderful and worked hard to make sure our stay was perfect. We asked for and promptly got extra blankets and a space heater when we visited during a cold snap.

Even though St. Phillip's Residence is on a quiet street the garbage trucks woke me up at 3:30 am every morning so maybe Request a unit on the inside instead of the street side. One thing to note... the booking.com description says they have luggage storage. They do not but there is a Bounce luggage storage inside the visitor center on Decatur a block away.

Place was really well kept and beds were very comfortable. Location was great.

Host would not allow us to check our bags into the unit or check in early even though property was not booked for the previous day. Not allowing early check in as a courtesy when it doesn't negatively impact the owner is a little heavy handed in my opinion.

Location can’t be beat! It’s a beautiful historic building. Check in was smooth, and throughout our stay, it was easy to get in touch with the staff.

Its an OLD building—so obviously there were a few bumps in the road. The plumbing is old and requires you to be patient and gentle (hold down the toilet handle when you flush and if you must, wait a few minutes before flushing again). a little bit of water dripped into our room during a very intense rain storm—again, kind of to be expected in a historic location. nothing at all we couldn’t handle.

Great location, large balcony, good facilities.

Uncomfortable and worn outside seating on balcony. Minute ruining board. Lack of luggage storage on site and poor internet connection which affected TV and mobile usage.

Fantastic location, with French Quarter charm. The studio was spacious with a phenomenal balcony. The heat/AC and shower pressure/hot water worked very well.

The studio room could use either some wall hooks or shelves to put clothes on.

The ease, the gorgeous staff, location. The guests were brilliant and we enjoyed the wonderful conversations!

The shower is very weak, very dificult to wash the hair and the room has mold on the celling, I know it's a old house and had been redecorated just a few years,( It looks very much nicer now) however the maintenance should be more often since it' a old house...

We enjoyed the location in the French Quarter and we enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee and evening night cap.

I didn't receive a message with directives to check in until after I called their customer service.

I love a loft, so it was great!! location was great!! was missing the shower curtain but they were pretty fast about getting one to the room.

Check in was not a great experience!! I never received a text with codes to get into the building or into our room. SoI thought there would be someone there at a desk. NO!! luckily a nice couple there let us in and gave me the phone numbers they had received. After numerous calls and text I finally got a text message with my codes!! I thought I had been scammed!!
