My location was great. I was about one mile from everything I wanted to do so I didn't need to hire transportation for my destinations. Where I stayed was quiet. I heard minimal noise from guests upstairs, the usual types of moving around noise but not during sleeping hours. The room was clean and was stocked with everything needed. The host was great and he gave recommendations for restaurants and advice for around town. This location is a five minute walk from Bourbon Street, but the noise from that area does not reach this location.

I wish there was a step stool to get into the bed. As a short person, it was a challenge to get into bed.

AHidden Gem in the French Quarter – Inn on St. Ann, New Orleans What a delightful stay! Inn on St. Ann truly felt like stepping into a quaint French apartment tucked away in the heart of New Orleans. The charm of the building, paired with the thoughtful touches in the room, made it feel like a home away from home — cozy, clean, and equipped with absolutely everything I needed. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond. I was graciously allowed an early check-in, no questions asked, which was such a relief after traveling. They also stored my bags safely after check-out while I explored the city a bit more before flying out — such a thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about their hospitality. A special shoutout to the lovely lady at reception — truly a breath of fresh air. Warm, welcoming, and efficient. And the gentleman on night duty was an absolute gem! Kind, and incredibly helpful. These two made all the difference in my stay, and their kindness will not be forgotten. If you're looking for authentic charm, excellent service, and a peaceful retreat within walking distance of the buzz of Bourbon Street — look no further. I would absolutely stay here again. Five stars well deserved!

Everything was good

The location was very walkable. We liked the courtyard. Shower had good pressure. Room service was mostly good .

The sink did not have hot water. The toilet ran constantly, approximately every 6 minutes when we were in the room. Had to turn off the water to sleep. We did have to ask to replenish water bottles and coffee creamer but only once. The room I paid for was supposed to be Queen size bed. It was a double. #44. It may have been because we requested a downstairs room. We didn't register that it was a double bed until we laid down and we were touching with one arm on the edge.

I took the Red eye from California>Atlanta>NOLA I knew I would be exhausted. My main concern was check-in. Inn on St. Ann, a French Quarter Guest Houses Property was the ONLY place that did check-in at 3pm. I sent a message before hand asking for early check-in via booking.com but never heard back. I arrived to the hotel around 12:00pm and they had the room ready for me. :) My room was located across the street from where the actual lobby is located. Which was a little interesting at first but maybe common for NOLA..?? To get to my room I had to enter through a key card door, immediately after it takes you to a court yard. Honestly, unexpectedly it was a great stay. The price was modest. I was there for 3 nights over the weekend at the end of September. The A/C, fan was on blast and made the room temperature comfortable. There’s a coffee machine in the room, the shower Was hot & I got good sleep and felt safe. (P.s I’m a solo traveler so I couldn’t ask for more)

At first, I wasn’t sure if the door was locked because there is no actual knob to turn. There is a hotel security latch. Which I used and was fine.

Very interesting historic property in a quiet part of the French Quarter that has a residential feel while still being a short walk to everything. My room in the main (front) building was modern and comfortable while still retaining period character. As a jazz fan I liked the collection of old record albums decorating the lobby. And I really appreciated having a small fridge and a microwave, something that in my experience is rare in older New Orleans hotels. The price was reasonable for the location.

Nothing, but I would advise getting information in advance on the precise room that you're booking. The hotel is actually spread across multiple buildings, so I can only speak to the experience I had in the main building.

location . cleanliness. this is close to bourbon street but as others have said, quiet enough as up there street away from all the biz and noise.

a fridge would have made this booking so much better as you need somewhere to keep cold drinks etc. our first room booking was across the road, and we had no window, so felt very claustrophobic ..On speaking with staff we got moved across the road to the courtyard area you see in the picture...(far nicer) has small frenchdoors you can open, especially in the heat.

if we had a small fridge this would have made it perfect as it was so warm but culdnt keep anything cool in room. There are 2 parts to this place, some room are across the road and the ones across the road, have windows etc, main door, whereas the other building has rooms with no windows. dont let that pout you off though as the property is lovely and staff super helpful. Hopefully the read the reviews and look at adding a small fridge

I hadn't heard of or seen Inn on St. Ann in previous visits to New Orleans, but needed a convenient place to stay as the town filled up for the Taylor Swift concerts this month. The hotel was much nicer than I expected! It's an eccentric older inn with steep stairs, a warren of small rooms in two buildings and a few quirks, but that's to be expected with a property of that age.

The air conditioner remote was gone in the first room we stayed in and the unit was high up on the wall so a little hard to control, but the hotel manager helped us set it to a comfortable temperature.

We had one of the suites, which was right next door to Marie Laveau's house. We could walk to anywhere in the French Quarter easily and it was very close to Armstrong Park and Cemetery tours. The suite itself was modern and bright, but still had the feeling of being in a charming old building.

Good value in a historic building right on the edge of the Quarter, with easy walk to Treme', Jackson Square, throughout Quarter and to Streetcars. Loved Dwayne, who worked the front desk. He was amazing throughout visit and helped us not miss our flight home by finding a taxi, when our scheduled bailed at the last minute.
