We've stayed here several times. We love the location and the staff.

The hotel seems to be getting a bit run down. Not much maintenance.

The room was nice and spacious, balcony overlooking the courtyard, room was nice and cool as it was very hot and humid outside. The bed was comfortable and the furniture was and gave a rustic feel. There’s also a pool in the courtyard. The location was perfect, literally just a couple minutes to Bourbon Street, and about a 5-10 minute walk to French Market, Jackson Square, etc. Close enough to walk everywhere but far enough away that you don’t hear the noise at night when you’re sleeping. There’s a bar, restaurant, and a little shop by the lobby as well. All staff were very friendly.

Not to say I didn’t like it but there is a $50/night deposit at check in and I ended up having to pay $200 before getting my room key, they also have Valet parking which is $55 plus tax per night. There is street parking but during my stay it was very hard to find a spot on the street and Valet was more convenient. And the Valet staff were very friendly also.

First of all, the staff and check-in process was excellent!!! From the greeter at the door to the outstanding staff at the desk for my check in. The daily cleaning service was also excellent. I really enjoyed the balcony room overlooking the courtyard. Very serene in the day or night. The bar/restaurant was also excellent and convenient. The nightly musical performers were awesome. The bar staff were excellent. The breakfast servers and food was excellent. The location was convenient and in a pleasant area. I would definitely stay here again and I have recommended this location to others.

No renovations, or construction. I understand that this is normal and happens. Just seems like every time I stay in the French Quarter the hotels are starting remodeling at 8 am. But not here though, the property was clean and exceptional staff and restaurant. Sometimes after your first day, you walk so much and it’s nice to be able to recoup and just relax on property

The immediate charge of 192.$ for incidentals Wasn’t aware, and usually it’s normal to put your card on file for any hotel room and sometimes I’ve seen it be a 50$ deposit, but the 192 kinda affected my budget for my stay in Nola, all though I did get it back 2 days later. I would have much preferred to have spent that cash in the city.

Chanterelle greeted us warmly even though we arrived hours before check-in. She found us the perfect room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As much as we wanted to get up early to see New Orleans each day, we couldn’t drag ourselves out of bed. My kid slept until after noon one day! Honestly, I’ve never slept better. We loved the balcony, the elevator and the refreshing iced water in the lobby. The hotel is perfectly located with the best local bar across the street (Fahy’s). If you’re in town over a weekend, you can enjoy drinks from Joshua and live music.

Yes, the hotel could probably use a few updates, but it’s in the heart of New Orleans and sparkling clean so who cares? If you’re so finicky you can’t enjoy Maison Dupuy, you probably shouldn’t visit New Orleans. I’d return in a heartbeat and hope to have the opportunity to experience their incredible hospitality again.

Beautiful older hotel in a great location with a lovely courtyard and pool. We stayed in a balcony room with a king size bed. It was very spacious and met all of our needs. There wasn't a remote for the TV when we arrived, but this was fixed as soon as we brought it to their attention. The valet service was awesome for storing our luggage as we had many hours before we could check in and many hours after we needed to check out that we needed them stored and they didn't charge us extra. Super friendly staff. Seriously the location was spot on as it was not too busy and not too far from the action.

The bathroom is due for a remodel, but it wasn't a deal breaker just outdated and dirty floor tile. I have seen way worse so not bad, and it is an older hotel so what I was expecting.

The room was quiet and clean. Faced the rear north side. Hotel is pretty much located on the north side of the Quarter - close to Central East and West. No more than 15 minutes walk from anywhere in the Quarter. Close enough to enjoy all the action - but far enough away to be able to get some sleep.

One elevator was broken on my first day - repaired the next day. The ice machine did not work on my floor but I did find a working one on another floor. The car parking was expensive but it was on site and convenient. The restaurant has limited hours with a limited menu and was expensive for what was offered.

I liked the security and also ensuring when coming back to the hotel that the wristbands were checked, we felt safe. The few times I interacted with the staff everyone was wonderful, smiling, and willing to assist.

The room was warm. I did bring it to the attention of the front office to be looked at. It wasn't an urgent matter for us as we had a room with a balcony and was able to leave the door open to stay cool in which made it awesome!

The location was great! Staff was helpful and they have a baggage check if you check out sooner than you leave. The views from the 5th floor were amazing and they historic building was beautiful.

The elevators were a bit scary with how noisey and creaky they are.. The room didn't have a "do not disturb" door hang so the first morning we were woken up at 9am by house keeping continuously knocking until we got up to tell them we didn't need it. It wasn't the cleanest hotel. The rooms were fine but the elevators and lobby were noticeably dirty. The rooms had some dirt around the edges and the door knobs.

Nice spot just about a perfect stay.folks call these places dated and it bothers me greatly.Its a historic building and if we modern I definetly wouldnt stay.Its kinda of the whole point.Beaitiful historic hotel.Courtyard and pool are amazing.

Valet argued my truck wouldnt fit in parking garage and didnt want to hear what I had to say.The joke was on him once I forced him to hear me out.we had already been parked inside and had the truck brought out to leave for a bit in the afternoon.They need to teach the valet some manors.
