The location is great! Right around the corner from Bourbon St. and within walking distance to anything else you may want to see or do. We walked to Cafe Du Monde and the French Market, St. Louis Cathedral, St. Louis Cemetery #1, Armstrong park, everywhere we wanted to go! There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance also! The staff was so nice and friendly, and willing to give tips and advice for first timers! The room was very clean and it had the biggest bathroom! The bed was so comfy after a long day of walking and partying on Bourbon St.

The ONLY complaint that I have is that on our last night, there were 4 guests that made the courtyard/pool area party central. They had a cooler and set up shop on the pool lounge chairs. The ladies were squealing and laughing so loudly and the men were getting rowdy and yelling. I know I couldn't be the only one being disturbed at 1 am by them and If I could hear it on the 4th floor, I know the front desk could hear it. This went on until around 3 am when they decided it was convenient for them to take it somewhere else. I hate to be a party pooper, but it was a little excessive and highly irritating when you pay so much for a room you can't even rest in...

Hotel is in a great location. Walkable to everything in the French Quarter but also close to the highway to get out easy. Our room in Hermann house was very comfortable and a good aircon which was needed in August. More importantly it was quiet! It’s only a street over from Bourbon Street so it was nice to retreat there and not be able to hear any of that noise.

Parking was expensive but also safe and secure and valet was quick. We were there during Red Dress Run and was glad to see the car behind a locked gate late at night. The pool was a bit dirty/ murky/ had a couple of band aids in it. On day 3 of our stay we found the smoke detector wrapped up in a towel in a drawer of the bathroom and I mentioned this to the front desk but he couldn’t have cared less. Hopefully he passes it on to housekeeping to be more thorough in turning the rooms over as it’s a safety issue.

Our room was clean. It was big enough for suitcases etc. The hotel was located in very good place near Bourbon Street, anywere it was peaceful and nothing disturbed us. There were many good restaurants nearby for breakfast and meals.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the French Quarter, clean room, and the pool was kind of cool to hang around.

The one major downside was the unexpected $55 per night deposit. What was frustrating is that this policy wasn’t clearly communicated at the time of booking. It came as a surprise at check-in, and even more inconvenient was the fact that it took nearly 30 days for the deposit to be released by both the hotel and my bank. This lengthy delay was not mentioned anywhere and left a negative impression.

Fantastic location in the French Quarter. Everything important was very close, in walkable distance. You are in the middle of unique atmosphere and architecture. At the same time it's not noisy despite just a few minutes walk from Burbon street.

The only small minus happened when we wanted to drink water late in the evening, and the machine didn't work. In this case the reception, in our opinion, should have some bottles, but it was nothing, and we, being very tired, had to find a convenience store around. But we have no other complaints.

Perfect location - very close to everything. The hotel was well equipped and helped make our stay in NOLA enjoyable. The pool was very nice! We were able to drop off our luggage for free after check out for as long as we saw fit.

The shower was at first a bit tricky to use. We had to ask how to do it the receptionist. After the gained know-how, it was very easy and it worked more than fine! I would recommend creating a brief manual because as I was told at the front desk and as I can see in the reviews, we were not the only ones to struggle.

I have stayed here several times before. Great location, friendly staff, coffee bar and room size are all factors that made my stay a good one. It is a great place to stay and the location is perfect for walking to all the hot spots. I sleep very well in their comfortable beds.

1. I arrived around 10:30 AM. The room was ready but could not check into 4. I paid an extra fee so I could check in. The fee was 75.00 which I thought was a bit steep. I did have a choice but wanted to get settled in so I could enjoy the rest of my day. 2. Day 3 of my stay I had to call to have room serviced. I just had them empty the trash and bring a couple of towels. I have been gone all day and was surprised the room had not been serviced. The staff was very prompt when I called.

I had feared that it's proximity to bourbon st would mean lots of nightime noise, but I slept like a baby. The pool was perfect - clean, nice and a great size for a mid morning dip. The room was clean, and had the NOLA charm that I wanted, versus the cold regularity of larger chains. The staff was excellent, always happy to see me, and accommodating when I showed up early and needed to store my bags before checkin. And the bar had more of that NOLA vibe, along with tasty interesting cocktails.

The location was great, so close to the French Quarter and easy walking distance but just enough so you weren't in all the noise.

There are quite a few different buildings, so it may not look like it does in the pictures. They use the same pictures for all the rooms regardless of which building you're in. The main building (we were on the 4th floor) is a bit dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. Parking is $45 per night, which we paid for convenience. I'm not sure how much the public parking is, but there is one just down the street. Cannot really complain about the hotel for the price we paid.

I liked our carriage house room. I loved the HUGE pool and even bigger double shower. I liked that we could check in early. I liked the morning coffee and I likes the courtyard pool and the more private courtyard off our room. I liked that there was a cool historical bar. I liked that we could easily store our luggage before and after our check in. I liked the bellmen who offered to call us a cab for our trip the the airport. I liked the location in the quarter very close to the action,

Some of the lights in our room were broken and not ever fixed and there was not house keeping every day, very firm pillows. Not a big deal
