The location is awesome. The staff are second to none. Amazing people from the time you pull in the valet to the time you leave the staff is courteous and friendly.

The HVAC system when we arrived and tried to change the heat to air because it had got a little hot that day. There was no way to turn the air on. It was only heat. I did call down for a fan which they sent right up the room are very small.

Breakfast was poor and not value for money - one member of staff at breakfast wasnt overly friendly - hence we didn’t eat there again - as we wandered in for breakfast I did wonder why there weren’t many people at breakfast now I know why hence we didn’t book for dinner. Also on our arrival at the hotel we were shocked to buy two drinks - a beer and a white wine and lemonade which cost us 50 dollars which was very expensive to say the least!!!

I liked the location and the staff was very nice. Nice balcony. Exercise room was nice overall I enjoyed my stay.

We woke before checkout went to put most of our things in our car at 10am and staff started cleaning our room before we could get back upstairs checkout was at 11 I didn't check out online or at the front desk yet also I think the pool is very small for a 7 story hotel and if the pool stayed open a little later it would have made the stay more enjoyable it closed at 10pm and if there was a hot tub where the overlook patio is located would have been perfect.

We loved the old style French influence and general opulence of the hotel. The balcony was fantastic and gave us a great look down into the French Quarter. The Rib Room restaurant is gorgeous and the food excellent.

It’s a small thing but having a shower in the bath tub is a little annoying as was the immovable shower head. First world problem 😆

The hotel was very clean and we really enjoyed the decor throughout. There is some modernization but the old New Orleans style was retained which we appreciated. Most restaurants, shops, etc. were easily accessible by walking or petty-cab. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. We were greeted all throughout our stay and everyone always asked if there was anything they could do for us.

Being charged $50 a day to park our car and then being charged tax on top of the $50 daily. We knew there was a fee for parking but a specific amount wasn’t stated when we made our reservation. We didn’t mind a fee but thought $50 was excessive and then you charge us an additional $7 daily as a tax on a parking fee. Pretty ridiculous considering that we’re already paying to stay at the hotel.

Love the location. Staff is the friendliest and most helpful. Year after year they are wonderful and treat everyone like family. They go above and beyond. The rooftop heated pool and bar are lovely. So relaxing.

Desperately needs a renovation of hallways and rooms. Dingy lighting. Dark rooms. Stained torn carpeting, wallpaper and paint damaged and peeling. No vent in bathroom. Tired furnishings. Pool area great but needs new umbrellas.

Great location in a quiet street, but just a short distance away from the action on Bourbon. Our second stay at the hotel and dare I say, it's lost a bit of it's class. There remains the old charm, but it's getting worn and tired. The staff were a credit to the hotel, helpful and always cheery, particularly on the door and breakfast room. The rooftop pool could've done with more sunbeds and less tables/chairs. I didn't use the small gym but it looked ok.

The staff was very helpful and always excited to help. The location was perfect as it is on Royal Street which has many shops and only 2 streets away from Bourbon Street that has places to eat and places to drink. Also, only 3 blocks away from the main square where there was always something going on there.

When we first checked in the room was dirty, not horrible but there were large dust binnies all over the bed and on the floor beside it. They moved us, so that was good.

Felt very welcome. The staff was all very nice and exceeded expectations. Can't beat the location if you want to be in the heart of all that Bourbon Street has to offer. Room was adequate.

The hotel is a bit dated. The old world charm of the hotel is great, it just needs a little refresh. The hallways to the rooms could have been vacuumed more frequently. This said, I would consider staying here on a future visit.

Well i ask for a early check in and was denied twice and a explanation if we do check in early there would be a extra charge. Then on arrival day we did not get text to check in until after 5:00 pm. There was no discount for the late check in. Dont charge a early check in if you can accommodate it, unless you are willing to go the other way.
