This was my second time staying at this property. Location is perfect. Near plenty of food options and very close to all the action on Bourbon and Canal. Staff was nice and helpful. Only downside was there was no fridge in the room. Overall a good experience. Will book again.

There was no fridge in the room so I had to keep that in mind for the food and drinks I purchased throughout my stay. Small inconvenience but I do believe there are fridges in other rooms at the property.

had to take two elevators for the deluxe room, the room wasn't that much of deluxe, small drawers for clothes that can suit only one person. the ac was old making noises and smelly

Loved the location and the staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and organized.

The rooms aren't very soundproof so heard our neighbors all night. Also it would be nice to have had somewhere to lounge outside on a sunny day.

Ice machine didn't work on the floor. Drink machine was out of drinks. King size room needed a small fridge.

French Quarter and Canal St. location near sights, transportation, shopping and food. The high floor room had a nice unobstructed city view towards the north which offset having to switch elevators once to get there. Mr. Ed's the adjoining restaurant had good food, reasonable prices, and nice atmosphere and opened earlier than most places nearby. Pool was nice for swimming for exercise. Comfortable bed and pillows. In-room coffee maker and mini refrigerator were convenient. Air conditioning was reasonably quiet, easy to set, and worked well. Plenty of drawers and hangers for clothes and other belongings. TV remote was easy to use and sufficient channels were available.

The block near the hotel entrance is a little run down and the sidewalk is very narrow and has some deep potholes. But once you walk one block from there towards the French Quarter, Royal St. becomes really nice. The ice machine was directly outside the room and could be heard from inside the hotel room.

Location and cleanliness.

A staff member came to our room to deliver a remote for the tv. He knocked and I asked him through the door what he wanted. He opened the door and was coming into the room. I pushed the door shut on him and told him we didn’t ask for a remote. He left and I didn’t hear him in the hallway after that. I felt alarmed that he opened the door on me. Good experience except for this one incident. Staff at front desk could be a little friendlier. We are in the south and should be greeted with smiles not poker faces.

The hotel is situated 1 block away from Burboun Street. Very convenient to everything

The front desk person was not very friendly and seemed as if I was bothering her when checking in. Also, the appearance outside of the hotel is less than desirable. A lot of very suspect looking people hanging around the hotel and the trash in the street gives the hotel a very bad look. Some work could be done to clean that up even if the hotel was to hire its own clean up crew. It would be worth the investment.

The room was comfortable and clean. There was a hairdryer and coffee maker in room. No mini fridge though. The hotel is in a good location and you can walk to everything in the French Quarter. The food in the attached restaurant was very good.

The parking is not included, however, as I must not have researched that at all, so that was a surprise as parking there and everywhere in the French Quarter is expensive. I could have just taken an Uber to and from the airport as we only used the car one other day. I'd advise researching parking if you do need to take a car there.
