great boutique hotel, newly opened so they are ironing out the kinks but great friendly helpful staff. I recommend the larger rooms though, as a boutique hotel, the standard are small. but all in all, loved the hotel and the staff

showers don't have a shelf/place to put your soap, shampoo, etc. they need to add something for this. the couch in our room wasn't very comfortable, they went with "style" instead of use - nothing that wouldn't make me go back.

Overall liked the hotel, but it was lacking in several ways that could be improved, mentioned below. Staff was great. Room was a 2 story loft, certainly more than anticipated but fell short of impressive because of several things. Would probably have been far better stay in a room off the street.

Street side room was horrible. Noise from certain cars with unbelievable loud music and revving of engines until 3 AM made it impossible to sleep well, even blasted through ear plugs (which I hate to wear). Small things seemed overlooked...no place for soap in the showers, bare couch with no pillows (more like a doctor's office), no extra blankets and sheets for comfort, bed was in a space to itself upstairs (loft) with no closet, dresser, table or chair (just a bed all alone)... awkward.. Had to place things on floor and keep most clothing down stairs. Room was stark with too few B/W pictures on huge walls. A little thought in decorating could make a huge difference to an otherwise impressive space to work with.

Stayed 5 nights whilst visiting New Orleans for the first time. The location is fantastic, right in the city centre, close to Public Transport and just at the edge of the French Quarter. Our room was massive although had no outside window which we thought a little strange. That said it meant despite it being one block from the end of Bourbon St it was beautifully quiet, so overall no problem there. Bed was super comfy and shower was massive. There were a few bits and pieces that let it down, minor niggles, but leave memories. There was a card in our room telling us that these 2 bottles of water were complimentary. They were also invisible. When we arrived we were told that there was no coffee in the room, but there was coffee available from morning till late in the lobby/bar area. Many times this was not the case. Upon arrival we were told there was a complimentary breakfast available to 11am. On our second morning we came down about 9.30 to find there was no milk, spoke with the lady patrolling who was totally unhelpful, said there was no more, and whose answer was to clear away the rest of the cereal/muffins etc. Certainly no complimentary breakfast up to 11am that morning. On the plus side the other staff were wonderful, engaging and helpful often running off to get us coffee when we wanted it. So overall sort out these little things and it would be a wonderful place to stay.

The Hotel position is just perfect to go around in New Orleans. It is at the border of the French Quarter and close to streetcars stops. Not far from the business quarter and the Mississippi River. The room was very big, the bad very comfortable and the bath had an excellent walking in shower.

When I arrived I had to struggle with the heating system and it took a couple of hours to me and the personnel to make it work properly. Unfortunately the heating system is quite noisy (but this is common in American big hotel) and it was a little hassle in the night. However, all in all, I shall not complain about it.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Rubenstein Hotel! The rooms were super spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to all the major sights to see in New Orleans! It also felt very secure as you needed your key card to enter the building and elevator, which made me feel safe as a solo traveler!

I typically like to watch TV/stream so I was disappointed that I had trouble accessing this during my stay. Also, the breakfast that was advertised was simply cereal, which I felt was underwhelming compared to what was advertised.

I liked the staff. They were prompt and professional. Cleanliness of the room and people cleaning the room were fast and efficient

My room didn't have a window, felt like a prison room. I didn't realize I has booked a room without one. So I take full responsibility but for it to be almost $200 to change was insane. Which they could've been more accommodating. Same time I guess I understand

Stayed here for the New Orleans Jazz Fest. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, we loved the sleek, modern decor and furnishings. The location was just off Canal Street which meant the hotel was adjacent to everything in the French Quarter and was close to the transportation links to the Jazz Fest. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit New Orleans and stay at the Rubenstein again.

The property was close to everything (I work off of Bourbon), it was beautiful and clean.

Digging a key out to enter the front door of the lobby was a little stressful at 4am when I got off of work. One night the scanner wasn’t registering my card and a man had me cornered by the door. Luckily, the staff noticed and let me in anyway. I understand a key to get in the elevator, but to walk into the lobby has the potential to be slightly inconvenient.

I travelled from Doha, Qatar, to New Orleans (Nola) to attend AMPP conference, 3-7 March 2024. The hotel is located in the downtown closer to many attractions and halal food. The hotel is newly built with wonderfully spacious and clean rooms. The staff is really very supportive, friendly and cooperative. I enjoy my stay there. One point that may improve the hotel appearance is to place a big sign board indicating the hotel entrance. I faced a problem in finding the main entrance of the hotel when I reached there at 7.30 pm. Anyway, I strongly recommend this hotel based on my amazing experience. Thank you.

The hotel location, staff and cleanliness of the rooms impressed me a lot.

The hotel was close to everything and an easy walk to the French Quarter as well as many good restaurants

I didn’t anticipate the noise from Canal Street (We were in a corner room which gave us a great view of everything but sometimes the noise from below … streetcars and voices… was a little loud) Maybe the hotel might include some complimentary ear plugs for visitors?
