Nicely apportioned hotel convienent to everywhere you want to be in NOLA. On top of that, the staff (Chris, Iris, and Lashonda) were simply the best! Great recommendations on where to eat and experience all that NOLA has to offer. Would definitely stay here again!

Furnishings are a little worn, but the vibe and atmosphere of the place more than makes up for that!

Location’ Location! Location!! Such a great location to everything!! Blocks away from Canal, Royal and Bourbon street! Christopher ar the front desk was the absolute BEST!! Set us with a Natchez Steamboat tour, dinner recommendations and an airboat swamp tour! We loved the ambience of the bar and the hotel has a nice inviting smell. They have bikes you can rent and a sushi restaurant on location. We didn’t try the restaurant with so much Louisiana cuisine around but we didn’t try have a wonderful stay!! Bed and pillows sooooooo comfortable!! Definitely helped rekindle the romantic!

Location was great. The art collection was AMAZING - I had no idea there was a REAL Banksy in the lobby. A fabulous surprise. Bar and bartender were fabulous. Front desk staff was a bit unkempt and bellman was not too on-it. Decor was eclectic and fun.

Front desk staffer was rumpled and not very professional. Room was small and bed creaked. No charging plugs anywhere. Bathroom toiletries were plastic + single use - not very eco friendly. Gym was basic - water station was broken and sign said - go to lobby. Suggest putting a few bottles of water there - don't make me take the elevator to the lobby! Property is a bit rough around the edges, but we enjoyed our stay.

The location was right in the middle of the Marti Gras parades which was really cool. It had easy access to mass transportation. Easy access to all the main tourist areas and local spots.

It was hot in the room, we said something to the staff about the AC needed to be looked at and they said they would have a maintenance person come look. It felt like it was never addressed. We made do with the fan in the main bedroom. When we arrived we didn't know about the parade routes and how it worked if you were on the wrong side of the parade. We called the main desk multiple times with no answer. So, an instruction on what to expect and how navigate during such an event would have been very helpful.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. We will recommend this hotel to all family and friends. The room and bedding was extremely comfortable.

The rooms were a little dark, and needed more lighting. Also the fridge was not operational, and even though we didn't use it, it may be a requirement for others.

Location and lobby

Room is very run down, it is okay but not the ripped off curtains for example We werent told we need to request housekeeping, when asked next day the receptionist gave an attitude and was not helpful, we had to resist to get housekeeping

The overall vibe is excellent - I love the art (Banksy and other pop art), the furnishings/decor, and the Christmas theme was wonderful during holidays. I will definitely feel "cool" when recommending this place to friends.

Bathroom (Suite 202): my bathroom felt like it was from 1992 - incredibly out of date and lacking any sense of style to match the rest of the room or hotel. The bad: no robes??? no vanity/make-up mirror??? Huge counter tops... but only 1 small sink with a small wall mirror??? Plus it had terrible lighting, ridiculously cheap shampoo conditioner & lotion, and just seemed completely separated (aesthetically) from the rest of the room/hotel. No drawers / dresser: I know this can be a common thing in hotels but there is not ONE SINGLE DRAWER in the entire suite? Besides hanging clothes you have to live out of your suit case? There isn't a single drawer in the entire room. very strange. 3) No Safe?

We decided to come to NOLA for our honeymoon. We booked another hotel a little further away and quickly realized we wanted to be closer to the city. We booked the IHH on a whim and we are SO HAPPY we did. The staff was awesome, the room was taken care of, and loved how close we were to everything. You are within walking distance to Bourbon St and all of the delicious restaurants nearby! You will hear some city noise but nothing that kept us from sleeping. If we come back to NOLA we know where we are staying!

Hallways were a little dark

Where do I even begin?! From the moment we arrived and walked through the doors it was absolutely stunning and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Loved that the hotel has its own little niche with the Banksy artwork and musical nods which is what drew me to it in the first place and it did not disappoint. Loved that it’s far enough from the busy areas to feel quaint and quiet yet close enough to be walkable. What this hotel maybe lacks in the high end finishes of some of the more upscale hotels it exceeds with charm, character and warmth. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Not a single complaint.

Great location, interesting hotel with lots of great artwork in the lobby. We stayed for 4 nights, our room was a smallish double on the 4th floor, decor was a little dated and the windows looked inwards (it was one of the cheapest, others may be more spacious & bright) but it was clean and had a large bathroom with good shower. Bed was a small double which was comfortable if a little soft. Our room was next to the lifts so I thought we might get disturbed but that was not the case and it was very quiet at night. Usual amenities provided basic toiletries, hair dryer, iron & board, safe. All good,overall happy and would stay again.

Coffee was available in the mornings from the lobby but it wasn’t the best flavour! . TV worked most of the time but had to report it as towards the end of our stay it started to ‘not connect’.
