Quaint older hotel with updated furnishings and friendly staff. The location was wonderful. We could walk to everything you'd want to do in downtown NOLA and there were tons of bars, resteraunts, diners, shopping, and tourist spots nearby. The price was very affordable for the stay. The bed was also very comfortable, which is rare for a hotel.

It took a while for hot water to come out for showers. Each time we waited for 5 to 10 minutes, but it wasn't the biggest of deals. It's an older building and makes sense.

Everyone was very friendly, acknowledged us each time we walked in, and was Greta about getting us the extra towels and items we needed to accommodate everyone in the room. It’s at a great location.

A refrigerator in each room would be helpful as well as enough towels for everyone arriving to stay in the room. Also, the hotel charged my credit card again for the entire amount even though I had already paid in full. The front desk immediately worked to correct the issue.

Not sure why this hotel has so many bad reviews. I had great experience here. The location is very convenient to French Quarter but also far enough to avoid loud noises and crazy crowds at night. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. They provide cleaning service everyday, I always came back to hotel room with my bed is made which I don't see that anymore in any other 4 stars hotel. They provide refreshments at the front desk and morning coffee everyday. All the staffs there are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Magnolia to any travelers.

Loved the hard wood floors and big screen TV. The bathroom was modern and what I expected. The bedding was comfortable and the lighting was different than what I expected which was a pleasant surprise.

The restaurant seemed to not be fully operational.

Clean and cute looking. Went above and beyond to help us do our washing. Housekeeping was regular so if we were there in the morning and couldn't get it done, we still had a tidy room by the afternoon.

Booking.com mislead us to believe there was a pool we could use. Could have restocked the coffee supplies in the room without us asking. Fire alarm went off at 4am which was inconvenient although I know not necessarily their fault.

Front desk staff was fantastic. Brianna was especially helpful answering questions regarding local restaurants and getting a taxi for us to the cruise port. Location to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, etc was very close and easy to walk to. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to New Orleans.

location from Bourbon street is perfect, the staff were amazing a special acknowledgement to Gwendolyn, Miss Debbie, and Terry who do everything to be helpful, friendly and a great job! Miss Debbie does a great job with the complimentary breakfast... sure wish her biscuit sandwiches were out more and more!

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great location was able to walk everywhere.

We were under the impression that there was a restaurant and bar, the only food available was the continental breakfast.

The location was very good. There was plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping locations in walking distance. Also, its only a short 10 minute walk to the French Quarters. Bed linens and bathrooms were fresh. The rooms did not smell lof a stale hotel.

Parking was expensive $45 per day. No refrigerator in the room for all the delicious leftovers.
