This property was a cute little place that was a very short walk to Bourbon St. and a very direct walk to Jackson Square. The rooms were great, and beds comfortable. We had three rooms in the back courtyard area. A King Suite, which was quite large and great for our group to convene, as well as two double Queen rooms. The bathrooms were completely adequate. We typically stay at Harrah’s (was actually terrible during Mardi Gras and happy not to return) while in New Orleans, but were taking a group of 10 for my daughter’s 21st and wanted something close to Bourbon and reasonably priced since we covered all three rooms. There is no lobby to speaking ak of or parking. The rooms had AC, which was great, but quite loud…couldn’t hear someone knock on our door if in the bedroom in the King Suite. The staff was friendly and helpful. No parking on-site, we parked two cars at the Premier parking lot about 3-4 blocks away (open lot) for a total of two nights and had no issues.
The only thing that wasn’t the best was that the AC units were quite loud. Missed a few knocks from our party, so resorted to texting when they needed us to open the door. It added to the charm and we aren’t that fussy, so it was fine.

The location is amazing, it is on the edge of the French Quarter so everything, including Bourbon Street is close, but you are outside the noisy party zone. The building is old and historic so do not expect a Westin chain hotel experience. The room was spacious, well equipped and modern inside. We were on the second floor and there is no elevator. To get to the lobby one has to go outside. The lobby coffee was great.
They only service the rooms every few days, but do so more often if you ask. All we really needed were fresh towels, which were supplied. The rooms are all non smoking, but the interior courtyard is used by smokers.

The location is amazing and the hotel is really atmospheric, especially if you stay on the second floor of the balcony. The folks behind the desk were accommodating and friendly. I also liked that there was free coffee and tea. The bathrooms are a good size, as are the rooms.
The rooms weren't cleaned every day, which is fine, but on the day that they did clean it, they didn't make my bed and forgot to replace the towels. They also didn't resupply coffee and creamers in my room. The air conditioner was a bit problematic. You couldn't control the temperature in case it got too cold or hot. During the night the rooms did get a bit warm and there was nothing that you could do about it.

Very nice and peaceful room. It was comfortable and I appreciate both the AC (which was loud) but also option to have fan (very quiet). Loved the wood floors. It was simple but tasteful and in a good location. The location is close enough to the action without the chaos. The location also made it quite easy to get in/out. If the street was busy it is super easy to walk up one block and get to a major street to catch a ride.
The shower was incredibly hot and hard to control the temperature. Water pressure in sink was low in contrast to the shower. Showering was challenging to not get scalded but also have enough water pressure to rinse off.

The location is incredible. Literally 3 minutes walking to Bourbon Street and less than 22 minutes walking to Frenchmen Street, which is amazing. I did everything by foot from there. The personnel is beyond great, always with recommendations and very nice people. My room was large, air conditioner was blasting (very much needed in the heat of June) and it was blissfully silent! Wish they would have given me a room on the second floor, but nevertheless, it was all perfect.

We really appreciated the location, it was close to everything. If you're exploring the French Quarter, this is the perfect spot, close enough to enjoy all the activities, yet just far enough away to offer peace and quiet. We were able to walk everywhere and loved having so many great restaurants nearby.
The only issue we had, was that the water was extremely hot, even the lowest setting, with little bit of water trinkling down was still hot.

The room itself was beautiful! It has a real historical feel with a modern twist. I appreciated the hardwood floors. The outside of the property is a bit run down looking but the room was nice.
Tight spaces and old on the outside. The I’ve machine was located all the way on the other side and we had to walk outside the hotel and down the sidewalk and open another door with the room key to get ice.

The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was pretty much in walking distance. The ground was flat so easy to walk. While it was close to Bourbon Street, I didn't find the noise disrupting.
It is in the old French quarter section, so there was no lift up to your room. The stairs were outside and made of metal and a bit of a climb with luggage. But I would stay here again

The location and old world charm
The front desk staff. One gal-was exceptional-during the day. The night lady didn’t know where to tell me to park (Lamothe) and either watches videos or was on the phone all of the time. The weekend guy was a little scary and just didn’t speak. The day gal-awesome. The Lamothe people (Friday 4/25)were amazing. I’ll stay there next time

This was a fanstastic place to stay. The location was perfect, walkable distance to everything we wanted to see, but it was quiet and felt very safe. Room was huge and bed was very comfortable. We felt spoilt and of the last 10 hotels we stayed in on out trip, this was the best by far and we will be coming back. Staff were lovely. Air conditioning very welcome.
Nothing, everything was great. Breakfast would have been nice though.
